1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    2. Oh, trust me @TasiaChiba, Nittle Grasper will always and forever be '90s J-Rock stars! They do all have "regular, non-rockstar clothes" as well so they can more or less "hide" from their fans, but even then, they are definitely rockers. Thanks everyone for the love, Grasper adores their fans. :cool::thumbup

      @TasiaChiba, I say, "Go For It!" Any and all concise tutorials, reviews and whatnot is not only good to be out there, but fun to read and follow too. If you do decide to write it up, feel free to post a link, I'd love to follow to see how it works out. :3nodding:

      Yeah @Brightfires, I know what you mean. I have a few of Marsh's pants, and the only one that's not flaking or anything is a pair of bellbottom jeans she custom made for Ryuichi. I don't put any of the others on My Crew very often, but maybe I should. I'd love to get pics of them wearing them before they flake to pieces. Marsh, you and your talent are sorely missed. :(:eusa_pray

      @KittyOrochimaru, tell me about it! I love how all...11(!) of my Shiwoo each look so very different! Your boys are really cute, love the ears! Be sure to show us pics when the stuff that's needed come in. :3nodding:

      Oh, and @SacredMonsoon, I might have missed it, but congrats on Snow getting her wig! It looks great! :D

      It's okay! If I had anyone who'd use those, I'd be very tempted by them XD Tata's was sadly a bust, they still have some great stuff though. Lots of clothes I'd like to get XD I wish Dollheart would bring back the old styles, along with their newer style. Or another company would take the reins XD Thank you! <3 And that's a really cool wig! I'll probably have to make him one, if I decide that I really want it.

      Ooh, that's nice, though! Is the vinyl still holding up after ten years? o:

      lol true! Guess I might be getting another band. XD

      @TasiaChiba
      Yeah...at least the head hides it, though. XD I know for next time lmao. And that's definitely a good idea!
      Oooh awesome! I'm definitely looking forward to the comparisons. :'D

      The old DZ sculpts were great for the Jrock look. I have a Mo with the look, and he has his stompy boots (and some stompy high heel boots, too!).

      @Mizuzu
      Raven is so pretty!

      @Brightfires
      My little rockstars are trying to keep their glory days alive XD
      Shatterglass and Shakti looked great, though! I love their little guitars. :D

      I regret never owning a pair of Marsh pants. They always looked so nice ;;

      @KittyOrochimaru
      Your Yders look great! I love how different the same sculpt can look. :D
      Here's my regular Yder. :) I need to repaint him, so he'll match his body, but no harm in sharing lol

      (link just in case)

      @Adalaire
      Thank you! Sadly, still not stompy enough. :c
      Here are the boots I have compared to these from Alice (the soles are different than what Alice shows, which was kind of disappointing tbh). Mine are from Magic Tailor, which I'm pretty sure hasn't been around for a long time, and are the really thick soled ones on the right lol. I might have to just try and reuse the sole when the rest of the boots are totally messed up...

    4. Thank you @Ryuichi Sakuma 13! I really love the wig, it's not exactly like I hoped, but I do love her in it! :lol:

    5. Magic Tailor did such good stuff back in the day, dang. My first ever pair of bjd shoes were canvas MT sneakers, they're like 16 years old!! They were falling apart, but after some quick glue rehab they look brand new! (Except for the stains the original glue left, but oh well. They just look like someone's favorite pair of sneakers, as they should. :XD:) Still no new faceup on my Nanu06, I'm visiting family atm, but I so love seeing all these pics!!! It's almost like time travel to see so many beautiful Delfs back to back ❤❤❤

    6. @LupusDarkmoon Ah, dang. That's bad news for me too as many of my collection is also, leather clad, giant boot wearing rockstar types. Tho, after their pants started disintegrating, they are, sadly, all black denim clad rock star types now... I definitely don't want to go through the heartbreak of buying super expensive Sadol quality things only to have them literally crumble in a few years again. I even have those exact same platform boots! I just don't remember where I got them. Most of my other chunky boots are from Luts, when they had them, and Leekeworld, back when THEY were still strong in the shoe game.

    7. Sigh.... I too remember when clothing choices for dolls was basically "Visual Kei style J-rock star" or "Lolita". And that was like...all you could find

      I really miss those days.

    8. I don't miss those days... Shatterglass and Shakti were the only two in my crew who wore that kind of thing, and Daisy (My DHSoo, who's still here-) was my one and only Lolita-wearing doll. I had a heck of a time dressing the others... I had to learn to sew. I had no choice, since the traditional Asian style things I wanted were few and far between.

      THAT has certainly changed, thankfully. Though it can still be a pain finding things sized to fit our Delfs. These guys aren't exactly the 65cm+ abs-of-steel Uncle Manly McTalldude-types that seem to be all over the place these days. :lol:

    9. Does anyone know what size elastic delfs take from dollmore?

    10. @SacredMonsoon I believe either 3.5 or 4mm is what you would need? It's been a while since I bought elastic last....

    11. Yes! I did some asking and those are the right sizes! Thank you!!

    12. I finally had a day of good weather, where the temp and humidity cooperated enough to safely prime, paint, and seal my boy! He was my first doll, and while my tastes have arguably changed a bit since way, way, way back then in 2006 when I got him, my tastes for him specifically haven't changed much at all. His Beauty Green head has mellowed considerably, but it still more or less matches his slightly newer BW body, lol. He's gotten a lot of TLC lately and it's really helped me appreciate him, the lil pale man who started it all lmfao

    13. @Mamo He looks great! There's just something about first dolls, isn't there? I really do love a nanuri 06 though— they're unique, which I'm finding myself drawn to lately. I should really get some new photos of mine.

    14. Oooh @chataignon please share when you do, I love our 06 kids so much! So versatile, and unique is really the perfect word for them!

    15. @Mamo he's lovely! There truly is something about your first doll, I can't believe my girl here is 11 years old! I love seeing everybody's dolls from the good ole days!

    16. @SacredMonsoon omg, your Lishe is so beautiful!!! I've so enjoyed this thread and finding fellow old school CP enthusiasts, and the pictures don't hurt either! ;)

    17. Thank you so much! I agree, this thread is so fun, and so active for dolls that are so old now! I love seeing everyones styles of dolls too! Does Lasalle have a style since you've worked on him? I know Feather's colorful pastels have stayed since day one!

    18. @SacredMonsoon oof that's a great question. He's always kind of been my fashion plate to some extent, since he was my first, but I tend to like him in casual clothes best. Right now he's got on a graphic tank, a kinda punky black hooded cardigan, and grey shorts with his canvas sneakers. I made him a looot of tshirts back in the day, and two of the crappiest pairs of doll jeans on the planet kept purely for sentimental reasons, lol. I have a Volks denim jumpsuit I used to put him in all the time, but it kept staining him no matter how many times I washed it, despite never doing anything to any of my other dolls, so he hasn't worn it in quite a long time! I would pair it with an absolutely gigantic pair of chunky plastic molded sneakers I got on the MP, but big sneakers are in vogue again... maybe it's time to resurrect them :lol:
