CP Delf Discussion Part 13

@Mamo You guys inspired me to grab my camera. Not a perfect photo, but I think still captures the vibe of her character. Apologies for the messy wig— sometimes I have trouble seeing it before I get it on a computer screen.

 

@chataignon she is SO PRETTY, oh my gosh i love the combination of her eyeshadow and her eye color, so beautiful!!

 

@Mamo Ah thanks! For a free head that I once had no clue what to do with, I'm pretty happy with how she turned out. Or mostly? She doesn't have a lot of range of motion in her neck since her body is type 1. But other than that I really like her. I miss seeing nanuri all over the place. All the delf pictures in this thread make me happy though.

 

@Mamo ooh nice! I have this awesome grey long sleeve top my mum made for my dolls, but it has stained sooooo bad! I washed it in vinegar but no luck! So i totally understand lol... i hope you can get him some more stuff soon! I know TTYA is great for Delfs!

@chataignon omg shes so pretty!! I've never seen a lady of this sculpt! Her hair and eye color are so pretty together! I hope to see more of her!!

Snow looks ethereal as always @SacredMonsoon! I love the gentle wave it has falling over her shoulder like that!

Lasalle is definitely my easiest SD to dress, his type-2 body neck connector is by far the easiest head removal method in my collection! I ordered some shirts to customize with him in mind, I'm excited!

Ooh nice! What kinda shirts did you get? I've been sewing for my girls, but my machine is currently broken so i've been unable to.
I agree with the neck mech too! I actually bought one for Snow when I bought her in 2011, so when she finally gets a body it'll be easy head removal! Lol

 

@SacredMonsoon I got some plain solid color tshirts I figured I could experiment with, I wanna try bleach spray designs! I've also done a lot of freezer paper stencil work with fabric paint in human sizes (cosplay type stuff) and I thought I might see what I could come up with in dolly sizes too! I might even embroider one, the options are endless and I am terrible at choices lmao

 

There is definitely something so special about your first doll! My first doll still remains my favorite to this day. I can't imagine ever letting go of her!

@SacredMonsoon Thanks! I think nanuri06s make nice girls— boys too but I couldn't come up with the right character. Now I just need to settle on a clothing style for her ^^;; Snow looks lovely in that wig!

@SacredMonsoon I have a couple of TTYA blouses bookmarked that I think might work, but my other girl has a tendency to steal clothes intended for other dolls. I really wish I could sew tbh. What style are you thinking for Snow?

 

@chataignon oh i see! Feather likes to steal clothes too! I have made Snow a pair of leggings but i couldn't finish them cause my machine is broken. but I'm still just learning too! I'm thinking a lot of baby blue, pretty dresses and skirts, scarves and cute bunny accessories!

Man.. she is HARD to get a nice photo of... that high contrast thing is such a challenge. I think I may have to invest in a nicer camera eventually.

 

@SacredMonsoon That's too bad about your sewing machine. Is it repairable? I think blue will go really nicely with her hair. You always style your dolls so cutely.

Aw thank you! I really love styling my dolls, they always make me happy looking so pretty and pastels! I'm just really excited to be saving for Snow's body now! She's gonna be so much fun!

I’ve seen FL have “brought back” the old El & Lishe. ( Did the heads shrink? )
Wonder if they’ll keep that up and if the CP sculpt will look a bit closer to our old Delfs.
I mean I wouldn’t mind a tan Soo!

 

I bought both the new El and Lishe heads, so I will be able to compare them to a Yder, sleeping Breakaway and Chiwoo ‘soon’. I am excited lol.

 

They did what now??? I can't seem to find them on the site, I'd love to see!

 

Unfortunately when they release the "lookback" sculpts they are only available for a limited time. F60 El and Lishe were only available from December 2021 to January 2022. Kim SunHwa has said the next lookback heads will be in April, though he has not said what sculpts they will be yet.
