Ugh, once again, I'm not getting notifications for this thread. I have to admit, it was cool going back and seeing the gorgeous pics I missed, and reading everyone's posts.

Yeah, @Adalaire, its looking like I may need to find similar colored jeans to match the pleather pants that are all falling apart. Or, I may break down and make pants out of tablecloth pleather, which seems to last longer.

Its not much, but Luts has brought back the Mighty Ankle boots in SD size. Its not much, but they're kind of stompy. *shrug*

IKR? I've been following Inanna for years as well! She is the reason I want to make a Soony boy, I fell in love with her and ever since, I want a Soony for myself.

I changed Ethan's outfit, and I absolutely love his "I'm doing research for my book" style!

I've never shared a photo of this doll before because she's a work in progress and has no faceup. But I've been working on her lately and I figured why not.

 

Has anyone tried CP delf head on Angell Studio old body?

 

Chataignon, Juris are my absolute favorites. She's adorable!

 

@cthulhu I really love them too, such a great eye shape. It's been really fun putting her together.

 

I was coming out of lurkdom to ask a question regarding Delf Art dolls and tried to post a comment for the lovely doll in my previous post. I’ve been lurking too long evidently, as I flubbed up on complimenting the lovely doll in the picture.

My question concerned the rare, limited editions of 5, Delf Art dolls done around 2005 and was wondering how many of these dolls are around here. I have one, Anarchy in Heaven (DES) but would love to see photos of any others. I don’t have a picture host so can’t post my girl here, but can post photos on IG through the photo library.

Thanks for any responses to my inquiry.

 

I have the "Dreaming" Harang Jack o Lantern sculpt, sadly without it's default faceup (previous owner wiped)
I almost sold her but i'm glad i didn't, she's just getting a new faceup currently

I, for one, don't care if a Delf has a faceup or not, I'll still rave over them! Shuichi (Elf Chiwoo) hasn't had a faceup since I got him back in 2015, and I still post pics of him. I'm also planning on having regular eyes made for him, but I just love his heart eyes!

Shuichi is in a cue to get his faceup done, which means I'll finally be able to keep my New Years Resolution to have work done on My Crew. I'm also planning on getting back to sewing for them.

Next project for me is another tail for

He's probably going to have a different color tail for the different seasons, and maybe for some holidays too, just because.

Now if only I can stop buying dolls...and clothes...and shoes...and dolls....

@KittyOrochimaru, wiped or not, your couple are stunning! @mysticaldolldreams, I'd love to see your Art Delf, I hope you find a way to post a pic, or a link.

I would probably sell a kidney to get a CP Art Delf!

Ah this is me currently, i have an El on layaway and have a Chiwoo head incoming...as well as a modded female delf body. (while still trying to search for Dambi, If, Edgar and Kum-Ran)

I was going to not buy anything this year apart from a Delf Dan in the next winter event (not on topic to this thread) and now with these purchases i feel that is NOT gonna happen LOL.

Somehow waiting on 4 dolls. OOPS

 

@KittyOrochimaru, I kind of know what you mean. I didn't plan on buying any dolls last year, but then I saw Ethan.... It was love at first sight!

I still peruse the second hand market in the hopes of finding my Soony, and any other CP Delf dolls that I fall in love with. Where I'm going to put them in this small house, is another matter.

Oh, and thanks for the love, @malvinas! Ethan is a rather dapper man, isn't he? That's the look I was going for.

I have one of the five Garuda Chiwoos, but he's a little later than the dolls you're looking for I suspect. His release came around in 2007.

I think if he was made in the limited edition of 5, he would be part of their Delf Art series. Did he come in a wooden box? He is gorgeous!!

 

Yes... I know. He's definitely a Delf Art. Just not one of the early ones.

My Soony is a Delf Art, if that interests you. She is the Lolita Soony from 2007. This isn't a great picture but this is her in the outfit, minus the wig (the wig is... a curly frizzy mess, so I've never used it)


I didn't know the Delf Art dolls came in wooden boxes. Did all of them come in them or just the earlier ones? I bought my Soony secondhand and she didn't come with a box, but her outfit came in some very pretty heart shaped boxes.
