No, she's a nanuri '06! And thanks, I definitely hope it gets easier. Although I'm actually having a lot of fun with it (and getting to choose exact designs & colors).

@chataignon yah, doll clothes require a lot more fine manipulation, but it'll really improve your overall sewing skills if you keep it up

My sleeping Soony arrived today, so here is a handful of Soony for you to enjoy!



I'm going to name her Georgie, which was what I originally planned to name Blue (OE Soony) before she arrived and told me her name was Blue. I'm really hoping I'll be able to find her a type 1 body. It will be so cute to take pictures of them together! For now she is sharing with Blue (though, interestingly, they are wildly different colours. I'm sure this can't be completely down to Blue being yellowed?)

I can't believe how beautiful and perfect the faceup is! She is really putting Blue to shame! (I have noticed that Blue has suffered some damage around one side...not very noticeable thankfully. I'm going to try and be more careful with her, but I know that this is kind of inevitable when I play with her so much. so I'm trying to think of it as a sign of how much I love her and not get too sad about it)

 

Congrats again! Is it possible that Georgie is white skin?

 

I did wonder that, but when I put her next to my WS breakaway, he looks paler. I'll have to do a proper comparison of them all in daylight. I've put them all to bed now

My F60 Lookback El arrived today! Those of us who thought the El head looked smaller in the pictures we could find on the Fairyland site were SO VERY correct. His head is sooo much smaller than my Delf El! After I'm done working I'll upload a picture comparing the two. It was kind of a shock when I opened the box!

My Soony is actually much more yellow than my other Delfs. I always assumed, in my case it is because I took her EVERYWHERE with me when I got her. She spent a lot of time outdoors when I know she shouldn't have but I wanted to take pictures of her in all the places. My other delfs didn't get as much outdoor time. She is also the oldest of my delfs so maybe the batch of resin she is from was just more prone to yellowing? I don't know for certain, but the comparison between Blue and Georgie's resin looks very much like my Soony compared to my other delfs.

 

Wow, I'm actually feeling better that I didn't get an El now. I'm not a fan of the smaller heads. I'm happy to just get the older F60s.

Hope everyone is well! I'm dealing with a broken furnace and chaos in my apartment so i'm unable to take new pics. So here's Feather's Easter outfit! She got a squishmallow plushie for Easter, and so did Snow! I'll post more soon!

@malvinas I kinda like him, as I tend toward more realistic proportions. But it would be horribly disappointing if I got him to go with my older delfs and f60s!

 

Yeeeah.... Glad I didn't go for that tanned Lishe boy now. Her head would have been even smaller on that bod, I suspect.

The proportions aren't bad, but they're definitely not "classic Delf" at all. He looks more like one of my Lati guys than an old-school CP doll.

That's interesting! I don't think Blue has spent a lot of time outside in her lifetime. Pretty sure I'm the first person to play with her much and I've never taken her out of the house, and I keep her stored in a drawer. So yeah, maybe it is just different batches yellowing more than others.

I thought it would be interesting to see all my delfs together to compare the colours, so here they are
