CP Delf Discussion Part 13

I have a white wall, so maybe that is good enough? I haven't owned too many ws dolls, so I don't have a whole lot of old ws experience. But I have a feeling he's maybe ws because of the way his color have yellowed, seem to be a bit of greening there as well I guess.

But I take into consideration that he is an older head, so the resin color match does not bother me too much! He is what he is

Once I do have a body for him, and I do prefer to have a Delf body for him, I plan to send the whole doll, head and body to someone for a new faceup, body blushing. So maybe they can work some magic on him

She's so pretty with the white hair, and her resin color look pretty good still


Wait, is mine really a Luwen? He seem so different!

I don't have a lot of CP Delf knowledge, so if he's not a Luwen, can anybody tell what he is

 

I haven't really been keeping up, but I still love seeing everyone's pictures when I do pop in

@manabusama He's a Juri 2007 Type B (or Juri 07 B/Juri B, however people prefer to write it lol). Also definitely think he's yellowed white skin.

 

Thanks Cool! He was just an impulse buy on my old Norwegian forum. But I'm really really happy I got him now, he'll be such a cool addition next to my Sweety Bliss

I did think he looked different from the few Luwen pictures I were able to Google. But since I know so little about CP Delfs even FL, I thought maybe he's a kind of Luwen XD I don't exactly know where I got the name Luwen from, it's that long he's been stored away in a box

I'm just thinking now if I'd like him better on a SDF body if that's possible! Originally I only had plans getting 1 Delf boy as he'd be the smaller one of the group. A Delf Jean boy if possible is what I've been wanting for a while, besides I feel my Juri woukd be better on a body a bit bigger and closer in size to my SDF65 boy.

I have a few things I need to figure out when it comes to what to do with this boy

It got real difficult thinking of having my Juri as a floating head for so long. I currently have no idea when I can order his new body, but I tried him on a DZ 60cm body. I don't recommend it with a neck donut as you'd have to force the headcap on, and I only got it partly on. The neck isn't too bad, but still a bit too wide for the head too look good on it. And with an old SDF type 1 body I could not even get it to close, and the neck obviously would be too wide!

I'm not risking destroying the inside mechanism of the headcap, but he can stay on the DZ body for now until I get him his Delf body.

A Delf body probably is the best choice here considering his slim face shape. Looks better for him being a bit on the smaller side then I guess.

I got to rethink his new faceup as I like the purple wig on him so much I'm not going for an autumn colored elf anymore. I'm thinking a freckled, purple Goth like character would fit him more. Now I just need to find this beautiful boy a name

 

@manabusama You're welcome! Yeah, I feel like all the Delfs look like they could be related. XD

Good luck with the body hunt! I usually put mine on Delf or Fantasy Doll bodies. Though, I do have a Yder on an ALM body body, as well as a FeePle head on a Crobidoll R-Line and one on an Impldoll Star (newer girl body though).

Whenever I use a donut, I put the headcap on upsidedown. Wig being on hides it, anyway lol. I've also used a bundle of shortened toothpicks taped together instead of a donut. It works rather well and the headcap can usually go on properly. XD

A freckled, purple goth like character sounds fun!

 

Thanks And thanks for the body suggestions, I'll check them out as well! Shortened toothpicks taped together, or something like that, that's a good idea. Might as well try that sometime, with a bit of eyeputty to keep it firm in place.

I'm gonna go do some makeup search for his faceup, and some name search now. If I sound a bit hyper, I probably am XD Taking out my old Juri head is the best thing I've done in a while, in this hobby. Feeling so excited that I found love for a doll that I had long given up on!

I believe yours is a Juri as well, not a luwen. They are similar though! I can see the confusion!

 

Pickle is pretty green in person, but I think all of his green accoutrements actually help him in photos. You just gotta embrace their color at this point.

I guess I must have seen the elf ears and similar eyes and thought that were him Both are very beautiful though Good know which sculp he is, but glad he's a type b as I like the more open eyes on him.

I bought him from Luts back in the day. There's the regular Luwen head and manabusama's "Vampire Elf" lu-wen. I sold both of mine, but yeah. Both are definitely luwen.

It's a Juri 07 B. Luwen has a different mouth shape.

So you're right! I had to dig up a pic of my old vamp. lu wen to double check. I saw the difference in the pictures but coulda sworn the vampire luwen did have a smaller mouth.
I think in my memory, it's just small compared to the giant bobble-headed el I had him paired with. LOL

 

The Barbie-Skipper comparison sounds about right judging for the pic, related but not exactly the same. Both are cute though and I’m glad they’re bringing back old sculpts even if they’re a bit different.

 

He's a cute little guy.. I suspect mine is going to be hanging out with the Latis, though. And he may have to have a bod with a narrower neck. Yours looks like he has a little bit of an "apple on a tree stump"-problem. XD

I made Baxter a kigu tonight. For some reason, the idea of a sleeping vampire living in kigus amuses me to no end, so I have a feeling this will not be the last lol.

I still have not been receiving my notifications for this thread, so I had something like five pages to read through. What a fun read, and with so many wonderful Delf dolls to look at! Congrats on all the new arrivals!

Right now Shuichi is at the spa finally getting a faceup. I've had that boy since 2015, and yet, this is his first one. I didn't like seeing his headless body sitting on my wardrobe, so this kind of happened.

@Ryuichi Sakuma 13 Thanks! It’s the test run (need to make the armholes bigger next time lol, but I think he’s going to end up in a bunny kigu because that just…speaks to me. XD he’s done with his emo phase, now it’s time to be soft, thank you.

Just as a note - someone mentioned an "LB Lishe" - I thought I'd heard all the Lishe terminology, but I have no idea what that means, can anyone enlighten me?
