I couldn't buy more than a dress and wig because I made an unscheduled doll purchase at Racccoon, i.e., I bought a doll even though I had no money budgeted for him. Blame it on Christmas! Here's the wig I bought. It stayed on long enough for photos before it popped off. Maybe I need to remove the labels from the inside.
I think I’ve decided on buying the limited dress, a sword and knife, heel feet and hands#3, and high heel shoes.... But maybe I should get that black dress and stockings too.... I don’t think I have ever purchased anything from a doll company for this much that wasnt a doll before! For me the limited dress won out over the peasant dress finally because of those leggings and also I can’t envision Saireth as a peasant lol but it’s a real nice set...
Done! I placed my order! Knife, sword, priestess dress, black dress, stockings, heels, high heel feet, hands #3. Phew! Well, that was all the hobby money I had....fingers crossed it is several months before Creature Doll releases anything else I need! What has the average wait time been for yall for random pieces and parts like this - a month or so?
@skyealloway - Congrats! That's quite a haul. My medieval dress and wig took about a week to arrive. I guess it all depends on whether or not the things you order are in stock.
@greeneyed-soul i dont have a lillith But there is a new basic doll, dress, cutlass, and armor set up! New Doll - [CREATURE DOLL] 45cm BASIC DOLL 'KARIN' The cutlass is really beautiful. The armor is interesting because it’s held by straps instead of magnets like the other armor sets. I think that’s becuase many people want to use the armor on other dolls. So this should be more adjustable? Karin is dressed so sweet but has such a determined face...feels out of place but I’m sure she could be styled super cool. I sure like seeing more of Alisa thou! She looks great in the black set!
I LOVE Karin! I wish I could buy her now while the free shipping lasts, but I need to sell a doll first and before I can sell him I have to wait for replacement hands because I broke a finger off. (His, not mine.) Let's see how long I can hold out before I hit the buy button.

I've never heard of this company until today, but my goodness! Karin has got me interested. Have any of you done a layaway with CreatureDoll? Is it easy? I want to jump while the shipping is free, but I'm holding back!

I was thinking she reminded me of Beryl. Not in a bad way. Definitely another pretty girl! The armor is nice as far as it goes, and it's great to see something like that offered as a separate option. ^_^ And I do like that cutlass! I'll probably have to pick one up at some point.
@toratsubasa and @petiteballerine i did layaway when I bought Phyllis. It was easy. I did not wait to be invoiced thou, I just sent payment at the one month intervals and I received receipts back via email from Creature Doll to show me how far along I was and how much more I had to pay off. When I paid off the layaway I received a final confirmation email letting me know that my doll was starting production. Oh and yes the clothes prices on the site already have the 10% discount included. I had not recognized the resemblance to the older Soom dolls, but I see it now!
If it were not so cold out tonight, I wouldn't be sitting here spending money. I pushed the button on Karin with some goodies for her. I'm planning on paying quickly so it's good to know that I can just send money early, not wait for an invoice. I'll post in the QA when I make payments. Yes, she really look Soomish to me in many ways, but is still her own self. Maybe Beryl is who I'm thinking of - that downturned, sulky mouth. I'll paint her myself which should be fun!

These dolls are amazing. I’m checking measurements now to see if my resinsoul Mei could get away with some of the clothing and armour. Violet traveller would be perfect! The Lucia Doll in Brown skin could be a great fit for my future doll - a shell for my sun elf character. ETA - looks like the proportions are very different. Technically it would fit on my doll but only the waist is a good fit; these dolls seem to have much more “adult” bodies with wider hips and shoulders.
