I recently saw a Lance head on a Dreamingdoll white skin body and the resin match looked pretty good. I know I asked this several months back, but does anyone have photos of the NS Lance (or any of the Crobidoll NS, I suppose, since it's all the same reson ) either on or compared to the Dreamingdoll NS resin? The proportions on it were good for the head, so I figured it would be worth it to give the question another shot.
Wow, weeks later, but I've also had someone, somewhere, mention Fantasy Doll as a possiblity. DO we have confirmation on that? I know they no longer sell the Lance head separately anymore, but I really find the body they have him on to be... not to my tastes. : So I guess I'm still looking for a replacement if I ever get to him.
I have the same problem ^^; I don't much like the crobi body either. I bought a demon garden body for my boy. There was a thread in the box opening gallery showing a yeon-ho head on one and it looked great. But my lance boy SHOULD be shipping out later this week, so when he arrives I can post pictures ^^; The resin match is perfect apparently~ It's a really beautiful body, AND cheap 8D And you know, you could always look for a splitter ^_^ I put up a wtb thread looking for someone to split and buy the body and found someone, I know a lot of people are wanting the crobi body for minimees and stuff, so you never know!
I've never heard of demon garden, I'll have to check them out, thank you! ^_^ If I buy him, I was thinking of doing a split for just the head, just so I wouldn't have an extra body lying around.

It's not very muscular, but that's what I was looking for personally. It's really nice, soft and natural. And the body stands and poses amazingly well (it's all ive been doing waiting for my doll to ship XDDD) Yea splits are great! Especially if you don't quite have the funds for a whole doll, haha. I decided, after many months of oggling the lance, that I would buy one, RIGHT after they stopped selling just heads. Agh. XD
Oh, I think I HAVE seen these before, but a super long time ago. XD They are nice bodies, and I don't want one that has ribs showing like a xylophone. I'm not crazy about the DG hip segment, but the body is a DEFINITE improvement. So the normal would match the Crobidoll resin and the P-normal would be for a darker NS, such as CP? Or P-normal matches Crobidoll? You'll have to let me know how it poses! ^^ Edit: Okay, the pinky resin is DEFINITELY not a match for CP. XD Unless the comparison pics I saw were of the normal resin with her. It's much lighter. So which works for CB, normal or p-normal?
The hip segment isn't actually all that bad in real life. It doesn't pose like a doll with a mid-section segment, but they don't have ridiculous posture either so it's more natural than most dolls like that xD The pink normal matches dod resin actually, its very light and not very peachy, the normal is what matches crobidoll :-) here's the thread with the resin match for you~ http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=261117&highlight=yeon she has an old demon garden body, but the old normal skin is the same as the new regular normal skin (I asked demon garden myself XD) ^__^ I know lance boys have slightly larger heads than yeon-hos I believe, so when my boy gets here I'll definitely post pictures for you to see the proportions and all! And truthfully, I've got a doll with a mid-section joint, and a doll with a three part midsection, both with double joints in elbows and one with them in the knees, and aside from the obvious not being able to slouch, the demon garden body is my favorite out of them o.O Maybe I'm just so in love with the sculpt, but his poses look more natural to me. I even got the body to stand on one foot with no trouble x_x It stands better than any SD body ive seen so far, and ive got roommates with several dolls of all kinds XD
Wow. That is a near PERFECT match. That's incredible. The size looks pretty perfect for the Yeon, too. I can't wait to see how your Lance ends up. I'll be keeping an eye out here for when you get him.
okay! My lovely boy is here. WOW he is SOOOO pretty *___* crobidoll rocks. I just can't believe how gorgeous he is! I took some photos of him on the DG body for you too! Personally, for as girly/pretty as the lance mold and default faceup is, i thought he looked funny on the crobi body when he got here XD; but the DG body was very PERFECT! EXACTLY what i wanted This of course, is personal preference, and for his character, it works waaaaay better XD; Anyway, PICTURES! Here's the resin match i had: Taken in sunlight ^___^ It's the same in real life as well, just BARELY noticeable. I actually thought when i opened the box it looked like the body was way too dark, but once i got his head on it was near perfect for sure. He has monkey ears. They drive me nuts, but they always make me smile, at least. That is a great resin match, and you're right, the more slender bodies really do fit him better. Of course, I kind of want mine for a werewolf man, so something moderately muscley wouldn't be bad. I just don't like the Crobi body. :p Thanks so much for the photos!
Haha, oh that is one of the things i love about the mold XD I am a fan of big ears, i think theyre so cute! but to each her own XDDD Haha, yea muscley for a werewolf man is probably more suitable perhaps XD no problem! :-) The crobi body is actually a lot nicer in person. Still not a fan, but at least it's better than it looks XD
Would a Crobidoll Lance head work on a 60 cm body, and if so, what resin matches would work, d'ya think? I'm really looking for a body with a torso that's divided at the hips AND chest, but since I NEED my character to be 60cm (he's a midget, hehe--think Edward Elric) I'll take what I can get. ^.^ Thanks!
I have a question for people with better knowledge. How do I get my hands on a white skin Lance head? I can't see them on their site, but know their are out there... What is the story about the white skin Lance?
