I had a pretty stressful day but just sitting down to put this together was like sweet remedy to all of it.

I really want a Bana, I've just shown my mum (she knows my doll obsession better than anyone) and she thinks 16cm is way too small for me! Still going to save for one, should be able to afford one by the end of July (please dont sell out!)

How does everyone find the tininess ??? I'm a little scared ...

 

rain_cloud - I never ever thought that I would be interested, let alone love a little one this size. I am so about my SD boys. But I absolutely adore my Anju! These little Milkys are just the best. So good luck with getting one yourself. These little guys are so much fun to have around and they are even better to dress up

 

I never thought I'd have a tiny either and honestly they're easier to pose than my SD. My pipos has ruined me for other dolls because of how he's engineered and even thought the tlines don't have the triple body joint, they're still really good at posing. I'd say go for it Rain_Cloud!

 

I got my Choco today! Turning "him" into a "her". She is so cute but has no clothes yet and I think the eyes they sent with her are WAY to big. Searching for clothes and new eyes now.

As for the T-lines...well, I'm sure I'm not the best person to say this, since I love small things, but I'm loving his size c: I've played with my friend's Hujoo baby once (which is OT), which is at...10cm? and I thought it was way too small for me x'D 16cm is pretty nice and if you'd like a dolly to carry around, they're perfect ^u^~ But again, I'm probably not the best person to say this, since I freaked out with my SD10 xD;;;;;;
You could always start a layaway with Dolkworld sooner if you want to make sure they won't be sold out x'D~

 

I've never heard of dolkworld?? I had a look on the website, how do you do layaways with them! I can definatly get one with my first paycheck at the end of july, but a layaway might be good! I just hope they don't sell out by late July...

 

@rain_cloud since I'm the one between me and Shai that did layaways with Dolk, let me brief you xD It's fairly simple really, you just post a 1:1 inquiry about whatever layaway plan you want to do (they generally require the first 100$ down upon order), they go over it and approve and then you simply include it in the notes section of your paypal transaction when you send them the first payment.

The way I did it after that was, title each payment after that as 'payment for order #...' and in the notes section I stated which payment it was. I always ran it through them after every payment just to be safe, though. I would simply post a 1:1 about it and they were always kind and superfast to confirm my payments.

 

Yup, they are huge, no white can show at all. I already ordered two smaller pairs from DDE. I'm still new to this so I don't have any extra things lying around.

I think that's the standard size they send. We got 14's with our tlines too.

 

The eyes in my Choco were too big for my taste too. I only have some little 10mm acrylics here and put those in for now. I'll get him/her some more soon...probably brown...but maybe try out some other colours too.

First I have to say that DDE is quick! I placed an order on Friday and I think I will have it by tomorrow - new eyes and wig. Also, was playing with some of my daugther's doll clothes and she has a small Madeline doll who is taller than Choco but a lot of the clothes fit as well as the shoes...score!

Pictures as soon as she has her eyes, wig, clothes, and oh yeah, I set up a flcker account.

 

Soenatte - Thank so much for all the advice about layaways! It's been really informative, I didn't really have much of a clue on how they work in the slightest, but now I do! I will definatly consider that for any larger doll purchases I make in the near future... but I don't think I'll be doing one this time though as I should hopefully be able to afford one by the end of June now, instead of the end of July! They shouldn't have sold-out by then *touch wood* I can't wait, I'm not 100% sure how I'll find the size but there is only one way to find out; Bana is way too cute to pass up!

jelysu, I'm curious too! I've been looking at wigs on DDE but I haven't seen any I was dying to have yet.

 

I now have a name for my future Wooyu! I'll be naming him Pascal

...Now I just have to save up enough to order him, haha.

 

I just bought a Coffee without wig/outfit; he's so cute and will fit in with my family perfectly! I am thinking of having him as my Soom Afi's brother or cousin, I haven't decided yet hmm...
