Crobidoll Yeon-Ho

Also I'm thinking of a souldoll body, anyone tried their new resin? Well it doesn't matter cause if not I plan trying it myself.

 

Wait, So, If they plan on releasing there own body for Yeon.. When will it be?
I want to order him in the next month, and I'm not keen on the Dreaming doll body so much... And I can't really seem to find any other body, that I like, And has a good resin match.

I don't wanna buy the DD body just because it's there, and is recommended, And then a week later they'll release the new body.

On another note, Has anyone got a photo of Yeon-ho next to a Soom white skin? I want to see how pale he really is. Because Soom is probably the palest white I've ever seen, and it's beautiful. Do you think they'll release him in WS eventually? Thanks guys!

I got my Yeon-Ho today, after an almost two month wait so it wasn't that bad. I ordered him with the Dreaming doll body and I like it okay, but the joints kind of stick, though I think this has a lot to do with how tight he is. He didn't come with any papers and that surprised me but it is a new company so I dunno. Either way, he's pouty XD

I have a WS AoD boy body on the way to me... And now I've fallen in love with Yeon-Ho, who doesn't come in WS Would a normal head on a clothed WS body really look that odd? Does anybody have any example pictures they could refer me to?

I don't even know if Yeon-Ho's head would fit an AoD body ^^; I also have a WS Delf body... *sigh* I can't buy a third NS body just to be able to have this gorgeous boy!

 

I just got my Yeon-Ho last Monday, so I can help contribute to some of the resin matching questions. XD

- He's currently on a NS LUTS Super Senior Delf body. I see NO resin difference whatsoever

- I have a Souldoll Lee Junki doll and I did a resin comparison--the Yeon-Ho head is very pale next to the Souldoll body. You're probably going to have to do a lot of heavy blushing on the head to make up for the difference

- Dream of Doll DoT resin matches the head--but ONLY the resin batch from 2007; the 2008 resin batch is MUCH pinker

- I've also plopped Yeon-Ho on a Minimee love body (from D.I.M.). The body was sent sometime in July, fyi. The resin match is a liiiiittle bit off, but nearly perfect.

- Elfdoll/Artmaze resin is a bit too pink. Maybe it'd work, too, with heavy blushing...?

- I have a slightly yellowed Volks Shirou Tachibana. A bit too yellow comared to the Yeon-Ho head, but not DoD 2008 resin batch bad. XDXD Miiiight be able to work with heavy blushing, too. Bodies that aren't quite as yellowed should be able to work fine--I put up my F-30 head next to Yeon-Ho and they were a pretty good match.

I don't know when it was bought. ^^; I bought him secondhand in the MP from brighnasa. You might want to ask her....?

 

fuminshouneko: oh! I already saw her SDF body thread and I had asked about the batch. It's a batch from 2007 when SDF were first released. I have a SSDF from an August 2008 batch and from what I've heard 2007 is darker and yellower than 2008. My SSDF boy is pretty pale. I'm gonna still try a SDF body with Crobi tho XD; thanks anyways ^^

I read that Yeon-Ho's head is smallish, and can be used on MSD bodies or SD bodies, so mayhaps they're something between the typical measurements for those?

I still would like to see Yeon-Ho on white skin bodies or an AoD body :3

Do you mean physically not fit, or the resin wouldn't match? I'm sure the resin wouldn't match either, but I'd still like to see him next to something white skin just to satisfy my curiosity ^^;

 

Haha, it must've been a random brain-fart kind of thing. XD Sometimes my brain likes to make up random info to confuse the hell out of me. XD

Curses! But I saw there's a person on DoA, Agitation, with a Yeon-Ho on a soft white Lance body... I'm just trying to desperately see if there's any way I can get a Yeon-Ho without buying him a body XD I'm persistent, aren't I? Pics are here and here

 

I honestly have to say I wouldn't put him on a white skin body. (Which is why I was rather upset when they released the normal skin body...)
The head is rather yellow and it takes quite a bit of effort to get them to look around the same color. It's not as noticeable in natural light, but here's a photo where you can tell the match isn't great.



I'm not unhappy with it at all, but I'll never be able to photograph him in anything but the best light. Photoshop can make some corrections though so it's not the end of the world.
