Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. If not mentioned before (like, by me - lol), make sure you use IE and not Firefox when dealing with CH. It gets locked up on Firefox.

    4. With any luck they fixed whatever the problem was when I tried using Firefox. It kept getting hung up on a pop-up window and wouldn't let me go any further.

    5. I notice in the FAQ they give sizes for Ai as 57 but then there is a smaller size of 54.5 also. Does anyone know if it is possible to order that smaller body? I don't see it listed anywhere.

    6. Apparently it is only available when the doll is not reduced and I don't know that you'd get a different body anyway if you paid full price. You can ask on the Q&A.

    7. If you are referring to the girl's body, there is only one. The smaller body was discontinued years ago.

    8. I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I can't seem to find threads containing the relevant search terms, so could someone direct me to a thread describing the difference between The Ai and the other Ai types? I'm keen on getting one from this sale.

      In addition, what head size does The Ai use? Do any wigs for other heads fit them?

    10. I was wondering how to pay.. I submitted an order and selected paypal payment, and they said I have to pay in 3 days but wasn't sent a paypal invoice or even an acknowledgement email. Is this normal?

    12. With the company I last ordered from, DOD, they didn't give you an invoice either- you were suppose to send the money to their paypal and put your confirmation/order number in the comments ^^

      At least that's how it worked for that company, I'm not 100% certain about Custom House, just thought that might be it~ x:

    14. I sent my money through paypal itself, since there was no option for my paypal address when I placed the order.

      I sent my Order number and Order date and User name in the message box when I sent the payment, and am just waiting for the status to change. I guarantee they weren't in the office on Friday, and they were closed this weekend, so we'll see. :)

      Edit: Just checked on my order status. we're at "Preparing order" now. ^__^

    15. Just as a reference my last orders from CH have been delivered in these timeframes - so only one slow order. Not all orders were in a "special event"

      ordered: 11th June 09 delivered 16th Oct 09 - 18 weeks (this order had about 9 dolls in it)
      Ordered 29th Aug 08 delivered 7th Oct - 5 weeks
      Ordered 7th June delivered 28th July 2008 - 7 weeks
      Ordered 24th Jan 2008 delivered 4th March 2008 - 6 weeks
      Ordered 22nd Jan 2008 Delivered 7th March 2008 - 6 weeks
      Ordered 29th Oct 2007 delivered 10th Dec 2007 - 6 weeks

      These all include shipping time - so delivery times stated are the day I got them at my house (Australian Customs did hold the last order for some time) - not when they left Korea.


      I have never had a problem with CH and always found them to be helpful, friendly and quality goods.

      @Meredith: I'm tentative about ordering, mostly because about the generally poor feedback they have on their Company Review board :C (Although their nice sculpts and double jointed MSD body is really tempting *_*)

    17. In the dropdown box for the event heads you can choose from quite a bunch of them, but these are also listed as sold out on their event-specific page. Will we really get what we choose for the event heads?

    19. Even when heads are meant to be random, if you put in a request, you have a good chance of getting your choice of head. If you are given the opportunity to choose a head, unless there is a mistake made, that is the head the company sends. I'm sure if for some reason you didn't receive the head requested, customhouse would arrange to send you the correct head.
