I have not been able to find anyone who has a CH Yeondu (Ai Junior girl). Has anyone ever received their order for this girl? I'm still waiting for mine to arrive and would like to have some clothes ready for her. Does anyone know what her actual waist size is? The CH site says it's 16.5cm. That can't be right 'cause the boy's waist is only 15.5 cm. I would like to make a cute skirt for her if anyone can tell me what her actual waist measurement is. Please help!

 

I'm due to get my order shipped next week. If no-one's posted an answer by then, I'll happily measure her waist when she arrives. You could also try posting the query in the waiting room as someone may have one there.

 

I don't know if anybody has mentioned this or not re: shoes for the Little Juniors

I have a pair of ImplDoll MSD boots that are really really small for MSD shoes (seriously, my Narae can *barely* fit into them). My LJ can wear them.. they still look a little long, but the shoes are slimmer and shorter than normal MSD shoes. I'm not sure if this fit is across the board with all of the ImplDoll MSD size shoes, but I thought I'd throw it out there as another alternative. ^^

 

tiarah, nice to know! For my boy I just use all sorts of trainers and put thick socks on his feet. Usually you can't tell if they look a big big because he prefers baggy stuff. But for my incoming LJ girl that's an information I will keep in mind.

I just jumped on a group order for Dollmore and bought my first ever item for her. ^^ A Narsha Hoodie. Call me silly, but I am excited. It will be a long while until she gets here ("only" ordered 4 months ago), but I'm glad she won't have to run around all in borrowed items from her twin brother.

 

Tiarah, that is an amazingfind. I didn't know about ImplDoll so just went there to check it out. Their 42cm girl has 4.8cm foot while LJ girl's foot is 5cm and their boy has 5cm foot and LJ boy is 5.2. So the shoes should be perfect. They had some unusual colors of glass eyes too - a pretty warm light brown.

I am looking for patterns that fit LJ Darea and noticed that Ellowyne Wilde has similar bust size and only marginally smaller waist. Her hips are quite a bit larger and she is 2 inches taller but has anyone tried one of the amzing patterns that are available for Ellowyne to fit onto Darea?

A little while ago, I gave Micah a body blushing - even though you can't really see it well in this picture. He's wearing his new hat and also his overalls. They are sort of tight so he can't really sit in them. Still cute, though.

I'm getting the little juniors off the MP because I couldn't find a spit partner for the CH event, but I placed an order for my Ange Ai Gabby this week...I guess according to the waiting room...I'll see my girl in 8 months. I couldn't help it, I loved her that much!

 

Yes, they deffinately are hard to resist! I'm also waiting for a Gaby - it's been six months so far. I really hope they'll pick up speed soon. I feel bad for everybody who ordered back in December and still hasn't gotten their dolls... and really hope that I won't have to wait that long.

 

Well I just got a shipping notice so hopefully they are picking up speed. I'm due to get both Junior and Little Juniors in my December order so I'll be excited when they get here.

Their eyes are really really pretty in person, too! Very vibrant colors - and not badly priced either!

I have a pair of black high-heeled boots for my LJ. She can stand in them, but obviously she's not as sturdy as she would be in flats. They're just soooooo cute though

I ordered 2 Junior Ai_YEONU twins (boy and girl) on feb 2 2010. Still waiting for them. I think I'll be waiting along time yet sadly . I am looking forward to them coming home though . There are to be son and daughter of Hades. I don't have names for them yet. I have a list a mile long list of names for them but still not sure what to call them. thinking of waiting for them to get here and then let them decide.

 

Zoey is adorable! Too bad they didn't have the sculpt when I was ordering this time.

I just got my first CH doll this week (adopted)! Say hello to my Little Junior Icarus! She doesn't have a name yet. I got her completely blank so I gave her a face up myself (it's my first try at a face up) while I look for a face up artist. She's wearing my JID boy's shirt as a dress for now, lol!



I love her already, and when she's done (several months from now) I'll love her even more! ^__^

 

I've always loved this Icarus sculpt. Yours looks very pretty. I've just received my 2 LJs and Juniors so I'm planning on giving them a face-up today. I'm about to go and spray them with Testors now. I've got a few Ellowyne patterns so I may try them for my Darea. I've got one I've been meaning to make-up for ages. I think I'll try that one first. Then I need to find some shoes that fit them.

 

let me know how the patterns work out Hobbysue as I'm expecting my two LJ's here next week....I would also like to know if you find any shoes to fit and from which companies It's my first dolls this size. ^_^

 

Hobbysue, I tried an Ellowyne pattern I downloaded from a PDF file and it didn't come close to fitting Darea. I don't have an Ellowyne so don't know if it would have fit her but I think the Tonner doll (and most of them in general ) are a lot wider through the shoulders. I have never sewn for a doll with a bustline so am struggling. I reduced a princess line (also a download, the one with the pink dress pictured) and it worked quite well except fot the fact that Darea's lopsided. I may just stick with knits for a while but I so want to make her corsets and fitted stuff. OMG, I could go on forever about patterns since it's the part I like best right after faceups and photos and...., but I'll control myself for now.

 

I'm looking at getting a guess doll outfit. I've tried googling for measurements, but had a hard time finding their site. So, does anyone know if their MSD outfits fit Juniors? I saw the 2008 archived company review and somone had said that it'll fit slimer MSDs better. I tried looking for a 2010 review (since they might have changed their pattern sizes or something) but had no luck for that either. I thank you for any help you can give me!

Also, congrats, hobbysue for finally recieving a portion of your order. I've been poping back into the waiting room just to check up on everyone. You have my deepest sympathies.

 

Shoes to fit Litle Juniors:
Customhouse: Nice Selection, all sold out, except for 1 pair of buckle boots, $36

Minoruworld: Their junior shoe is made for a 5cm foot. That should fit LJ girl, not sure about LJ boy. Each shoe has color options so more choices than it seems. $28 - $43. I haven't bought any of these because I would love to have the doll too and haven't decided yet, but really cute cowboy boots.

Dollmore Narsha size: Not a lot of choices like they have on their MSD sizes. $10 - $19

Impldoll. Tiarah vouched for these in a previous post. It would be their MSD size that would fit LJs.

Debs Adorables ebay shop: Her Betsy McCall shoes fit LJ girl with hose or very thin tights. Her Lark/Raven size fits the LJ boy or LJ girl with thicker socks. I got clogs, strappy sandals and am ordering tennies for Jupiter body. $7-$10. These are not platform shoes, just regular dolly shoes but so reasonable they can have a few differnt pairs. She does not accept returns!

I'm sure this list is not exhaustive, so would love to hear what anyone else has found.
