itseva - Thanks. Hm.. In my opinion I think the juniors are more on the average side, they are certainly not as lanky and slim as my dollmore kids, and the delf kids are just busty and hefty.. but not in a bad way.

Akiro is completely adorable; I especially like the way his wig frames his face. And the little headphones!

 

I'm having trouble getting my Junior girl to stand; haven't tried any fancy poses yet, just need her to stand up so that I can try clothes on her as I sew. One of her legs (the left one, I think) seems a little longer but the problem seems more complicated than that. When I put her legs in the stand niche inside her lower body and look at her from the side, she seems pitched forward a bit. Has anyone else experienced similar problems? I will definitely sand down the longer leg but is that niche inside the body misplaced or does she just need a shot of hot glue on that hip joint?

 

sueding never hurts a dolls posability I find Even my best posers are sueded..... I would see about maybe a sueding before you do any major mods personally. It doesn`t hurt anything and could only probably help in the long run.

I also know that different molds have their own quirks when it comes to standing (had to learn how to ballance six different companies). My custom house LJ boy is actually a better stander then the girl....not sure why that is but I just chaulk it up to her own little kink.

also, as for the poseability, i found hot glue sueding being a great deal helpful - at first i was totally devastated about the body, but now it poses quite decently i have to say!

 

Thanks, Sirius53Black and finallyiamnoone, I didtake her apart and hot glue suede her hip and knees joints and managed to smash a thumbnail in the process but she is finally holding a stand pose. Measured front and back of all of her leg parts and of all of those six measurements, I only found 1 mm difference so I won't mess with that but that left leg sure looks longer.

I didn't notice that anyone mentioned this before so excuse me if it was but I own a Mars boy and purchased a wig from the Cotin Doll Shop on eBay. The wigs fit a 7.0 - 7.5 head and I was quite pleased with it. The wig fit well and I purchased a style that kind of resembled the wig on the Mars boy featured on CH's website. It was a bit darker than I expected and I trimmed his bangs a bit but I thought he looked good in his wig, not feminine looking. I'm presently waiting for his face-up to be completed so I'm looking forward to that. The styles are more funky and they seem to be made well.

 

I need to get some boy style wigs for my junior and little junior guys. I don't really have any smaller sized male wigs. Next on the shopping list. Have you got a link to the Cotin doll shop on ebay? I was planning on looking to see what Dollmore had. They're usually fairly reasonable.

Try searching under CotinDoll Shop MSD and you'll see the items they sell which are mostly wigs. I hope you may find something there that you like.

Also I havent had any trouble with shoes for Akiro. Dollmore shoes fit, and Akiro is currently wearing shoes from nine9.

I've finally managed to get a couple of decent shots of Micah with his older sister. I changed his eyes and his hair. I think the 12mm eyes will stay, because they look so much better on him than the 14mm ones. Though maybe I'll get him another color. He finally looks less like a little kid and much more like a 12-year-old now. The wig is temporary but not bad, I think.

that might be true, for LJ boys have bigger feet. girls have 5cm feet, so most of MSD shoes are too big for them, and YoSD- too small.

although, two only two pairs my Zooey has now (apart fro the ones i have up for sale which i don't use) are yo-sd shoes ;P
