DearMine Dear Pet, Classic 20cm & Beans 12cm Anthros Discussion Part 3

Yeah risk vs reward is worth considering when standing expensive huge headed dolls on their teeny tiny feets.

Props are so fun! I actually got my tinies crew some of the dollhouse miniatures from Michael's recently that I haven't put to use yet. I'm really excited about it because I got a few gardening tools the pail isn't in scale, it's tiny, but it's cute, it's like a decorative houseplant watering size for mine. My dolls also have a re-ment sushi meal set and a tea set from hobby lobby years ago... And I made them a blanket for picnics too I better get to photographing I think.

I also have Lorenz from another edition and can't get it to stand on its own. Now I use a stand from a set from Harmonia Doll (good smile company).
Not perfect, but effective.
So I want to see live on Gen2 body.

oh he's perfect! i loooove those dreamy soft colors and purple eyes, he's so precious

i just bought a nendoroid cafe set and a stand from GSC since the beans body is only a liiiitle bit taller than my nendoroids, so hopefully that will fit him well. if not, well, my nendos will definitely appreciate them. does anybody know if the dear beans body can wear clothes sized for nendoroids/nendoroid dolls/obitsu, btw? their hips/thighs look thicker, but i think skirts/looser shorts may be okay. if no one's tried i'll test it out when one of my nendoroid dolls comes in!

 

@lynxie , Here on my bean set for ob11 (skirt and shirt).
But the body of the bean is thicker than ob11, so I had to make an effort to button the skirt. Some tight clothing may not fit.
Oh, and I tried to put tight pants on her: a complete failure, her butt is too fat x3

 

@Potato Pancakes awww yisssss thank you!! i'll scope out some looser fitting/stretchy tops and shorts then, as an alternative costume to wear.

if anyone is interested in props/dioramas/accessories for their dear beans, good smile company's playsets are pretty well to scale i think! i know that some can also snap together if you want a larger playset/diorama

And I finally have names for them too - they're all the names of seasons in Ukrainian.

Zyma (зима) - Soda (blue) - Name means "Winter" in Ukrainian
Osinʹ (осінь) - Milke Tea (tan) - Name means "Autumn" in Ukrainian
Lito (літо) - Sesame (gray) - Name means "Summer" in Ukrainian
Vesna (весна) - Rose (pink) - Name means "Spring" in Ukrainian

 

Does anyone know how I can contact Dearmine other than through their Q&A Board? I'm unable to log into my account. I tried to reset the password several times but never received any of the password reset emails... (I've already checked my spam folder.)

The only email address I can find for Dearmine is their PayPal address. I know a lot of companies don't really respond to queries sent to their PayPal address though... Has anyone tried emailing this address and gotten a response? Or tried contacting them through other means?

Edit: Well, I just sent an email to their PayPal address. Hope I get a response....

Just a little bit ago when Dearmine was merging to their new website, I had requested them to transfer my points from my old account to my new account and I had to email them. I don't quite remember how I got that email but it had to of been on their notice board on the old site. It's different than the paypal address but I don't know if they normally take inquiries from that email or if it's public knowledge. If you don't get a message back from their paypal email, DM me and I can let you know the other email that I have.

I got a response from the PayPal email this morning. They said they sent another temporary password to me but I am still unable to recieve it... I've replied back but haven't received anything further yet.

And I actually found the other email address too (after I'd sent my first email) while looking through old notices on the new site. I found that notice about transferring old orders/points to the new site. I sent an email to that address as well, just in case, but it immediately bounced and I got a message that that email address no longer exist...

The notice also said I could contact them on Twitter/X, however, their DMs are limited to 'verified users' which apparently means either users they follow back or paid users...

Anyway, I did also check their Instagram and Facebook which were both recently updated and the DMs seem to be open to all there. Was going to try contacting them there if emailing didn't work.

Well, all I can do now is wait for their further reply thru email, I guess.

 

Just an update that Dearmine ended up sending me a temporary password directly (on our email thread) and I was finally able to get back into my account!

Anyway, I think my Gmail just has trouble getting emails from sites hosted on Naver in general or something... I never got a confirmation email when I ordered from Dearmine back in Feb. I also never got a confirmation email from Dollpamm which also seems to be hosted on Naver. Both orders are listed as confirmed and paid when I go into my accounts, so I didn't worry too much about them.

Found a listing for a Dearmine Lily, I'm so excited! Her face shape has always captivated me.

 

Zyma is all ready for winter - even though there was only one day of snow before we had to return to the warmer climate.
