DearMine Dear Pet, Classic 20cm & Beans 12cm Anthros Discussion Part 3

I know right? I think Bean Lincoln is even cuter than classic size Lincoln. I'll definitely have to get him some day. He's just perfect - I probably would have caved then if I'd been seeing him in white skin, since that's what my idea for him needs.

 

White bean Lincoln does exist, but (as far as I can tell) an exclusive to the DOLK store in Osaka as a 10th anniversary event. Planning a trip to Japan anytime soon, haha?

 

Well I actually currently live there, but I don't exactly expect it to still be sitting in Osaka. I tend to write off the exclusives because they're pretty much beyond my means but he was pretty cute from their few pictures.

 

Aw shucks! Well, hopefully they'll release him in white again and not as an exlusive

 

I fully suspect they will, but I'd also be pretty interested in him if they did him in their black resin like the first release of Lupin! That would also work for my ideas. Grey too. White is just the first one that came to mind. He might work in any skin color that isn't Canaria skin....or maybe milk tea.

 

Oh my, little bit tired and getting some funny ideas, like switching the ears. Too bad tails wasn't compatible.

Only the belt. :P It's a LUTS Zuzu outfit. Even before I actually purchased Rey I thought he'd be perfect for this outfit. He normally sits in it on top of his griffin mount.

scripple Oh wow, that outfit really suits him perfectly! It reminds little bit Puss in the boots and that's cool. Also really interesting eye color.

I love your Lupy! Super cute. I need to get my hands on that sculpt one of these days....My Bean crew could use another member!

 

@chibi-kagu I'm pretty sure the outfit is supposed to be one of the three musketeers which fits the most modern adaptation of puss in boots as a swashbuckler. Thanks on the eyes.

I have several DM dolls but they're pretty much all white, black, or ash in color. It was nice to get Rey in yellowish. Their ash is a very nice shade of gray though.

Here's a quick snap of my Loc in ash skin. Yes I need to swap out the pinstripe pants to at least the plain black ones he came with. Sadly the pants that went with the top and armor wouldn't fit over his wooly ankles.



Loc is the only DP I have that still has a pair of DM glass eyes.

 

Can I just thank you for that description of the Canaria skin? That's probably the most detailed information I've heard and I don't think I've seen anyone with one really go about describing how they see it.

 

I hadn't realized I forgot to post my new DearMine Milk Orange Pekoe who is without a name presently! Sorry for the less than stellar iPhone photo - it's dreary today! Oh and I had to swap out her eyes because the ones DM sent were HUGE and wouldn't fit in her eye wells. Plus her boots were missing from the box and I had to wait 2 months for them to arrive. They are adorable, but she doesn't stand well in them.

 

april Aww, that Lupy is too cute! Really nice and soft contrast for skin-tone and that pink dress. I was so close to ordering Picasso bean in canaria skin, it really looked so tempting, but could resist it that time.

@Kirahfaye I'm suprised she doesn't stand very well in the shoes. I would have guess shoes would help with stability for dear pets.
