Did anyone order Vivien L. ~Le festin~ back in June? Would love to hear owner feedback and see pictures! I was sad that I'd missed out on her December 2019 order period, but I totally didn't have doll money in June 2021 for her either!! Someday!! Someday she'll fit into my collection!!
Hi, I'm new to Dearmine and trying to figure out: is Nocturne always a limited release? i.e. he doesn't have a standard version like Dune?
he is! dearmine has a couple standard sculpts and then a few others they'll rerelease in limited fullsets every once in a while (you can usually buy them without the fullset during that release though!). they do this for every size line they have. he'll be back in time though, they don't tend to discontinue dolls very often, and not without announcing it. they've renewed their bodies and basic makeup types before though.
I believe they also take into account customer requests - if enough people pester them (politely) about a certain sculpt then they'll re-release them at some point.
@mangameow @Quiet and Insane thank you, it's great to hear I won't necessarily have to get a fullset! I'll send them a message to let them know I'm looking forward to Nocturne's next release ^_^ I'm assuming the special resin colours also depend on the release?
they do, but i believe their basic white skin is available for (almost) every release as well. they tend to release certain colours at certain times of year with their seasonal releases, i believe tans are most common around autumn, and yellow and blue and pastels are usually around spring and summer, though mostly those are for the smaller sizes, 26cm and up are usually just whites and tans; i think there's been a black or grey a few times though. you can browse the older listings to get a better idea of what may be in store, though dearmine does do unexpected things sometimes which is always interesting.

Hi all, does anyone have any advice on removing the feet from the (boy) cat body? On Dearmine’s page for the body, it looks like the hands/feet remove pretty easily, without the s-hook snapping back into the limb — in practice though, pulling the foot out, I have no idea what I’m doing/looking at. (Desperately trying to put leggings on this doll, haha)
@helmud the part to hold the s-hook is in the ball of the wrist/ankle. Hold the ball against the lower leg and pull just the foot down. You'll reach the point where the elastic has to go through the ball which will offer some resistance but you pull it through. Then inside the ball there is a little notch at a 90 degree angle from the slit in the ball that the elastic goes through. So you rotate the foot and s-hook so that the s-hook is 90 degrees off from the slot and let the elastic retract back into the leg until the s-hook rests on that slot. Then you can remove the foot from the s-hook and hopefully the s-hook will stay. It's not 100% secure though so it can slip out of the notch and go back up into the leg. So be careful not to bump the s-hook to much while dressing the doll. I typically just remove the foot and ball and use something else to hold the elastic like I do for all the dolls that don't have the notch built in.
