    2. Right now I have a Dreaming Shiwoo (new type) on a Fdoll body and I'm sick and tired of it, so I'm thinking about buying him a CP body, but I just can't decide if I should choose a type 2 or a type 3.
      If it should be a type 3, then I should either look at the secondhand market or buy a Jess and then sell the head - but it's sooo expensive.
      I'm most for choosing the type 2, but I'm a sucker for good poseability in the arm, so I'm not quite sure. Can anyone tell me if the type 2 pose okay with the arms?

    3. This may be a dumb question,but does anyone have a picture of the inside of the type 1 head,I'm curious as to how it goes together.

      I just ordered my first Luts doll,and I want to see what they look like inside. :)

    4. I do! [​IMG] That was before I restrung him. When I restrung him, the elastic naturally wasn't frayed, but I also put the knots inside his body.

    6. that all depends on how much you do it and your skill with your method really. I have absolutely no difficulty changing my type ones' eyes, nor do I have a hard time opening their heads in general, my old roommate though constantly was talking about how she had a hard time, and watching her try to do it in her manner showed me why she had a hard time compared to how I did it. It only comes off so many ways, so just try it out till you find the easiest way for you.

    7. Mmm, I don't change his eyes. But I strung him a little loosely (he's hot glue sueded, which compensates in posing), so his head cap is pretty easy to remove. It varies a lot with stringing. I would recommend not actually removing the S-hook from the head cap, though; it's a pain to get it back on. I always push the head cap out of the way so it won't click into place.

      It was a pain getting my DZ boy's hook back in...thankfully I have small hands.

      so technically...if I just ordered a type 2 neckpeice,could I restring thetype 1 body with it and put my old type head on it? *does not mean to confuse you!*

    9. It's always easier to have two people restringing SD sized dolls. XD; I can do okay with a ribbon, but you have to become adept at moving the neckpiece. >.<

      I'm not sure I understand your question. ^^; The type two neckpiece only works with type two heads with the space for it to latch into. The "old type" type 1 heads aren't designed to have that space.

    12. i'm sorry for the very noobish question but i'm really considering purchasing a DELF DREAMING SHIWOO boy.. but im so confused with the whole new body or old body type thing..

      if i want the type 2 body, should i choose the "new" body option when choosing the delf dreaming shiwoo head?? thanks... >.< i cant find a direct answer for this question anywhere..

    13. Yup...new type = type 2 body. :) There's also a type 3 (which would be what, the new-new body?) but very few molds are sold with that one thus far.

    15. Maybe someone in here might know? Have you ever tried other brands of doll heads on a delf body? Would it work at all. I want an Iplehouse Louis head but I want it on a smaller body such as the delf. The neck circumferences on both dolls are the same but that doesn't mean that it will work. Maybe the type 1 because of the S hook? Really not sure, I don't really know anything about Lots dolls...:(

    17. Necroing to ask if a type 3 head would fit a type 2 body? The site says Lu Wen fits type 3 body, but would it fit a type 2 as well? Also, would his head fit any other company bodies??

    18. Yeah, it'll fit. A friend of mine bought a Lu-Wen to give the type 3 body to her Yder, but ended up liking the vampy Lu-Wen head so much she kept it, and bought a type 2 body for it, and it fit just fine. .^_^

      So she has a type 2 head (Yder) on a type 3 body, and a type 3 head (vampire/elf Lu-Wen) on a type 2 body.

      I don't know if it'll fit other companies though...
