    7. I recently had a brilliant, wonderful experience with DDE, and I wanted to leave a review for them -- and especially for Wendy, who was truly a delight in taking care of my order.

      Just to explain -- in my order, I ordered two pairs of eyes, a midnight blue pair in 14mm and an alice blue pair in 18mm. What I received was the midnight blue and a lavender blue. When I called DDE and spoke to Wendy, she was profusely apologetic and sent me a pair of alice blue eyes in the 18mm I wanted; also in the package, she said, would be an address label I could use to send the improper lavender pair back. Alas, a week went by and the eyes never showed up. When I let Wendy know, she was profusely apologetic yet again, and I could tell she truly felt awful about it. She looked for another pair of alice blue eyes to send me, but there was only a 16mm pair -- which was just fine with me. She shipped that pair out to me, this time via priority mail instead of first class mail, because she didn't want to risk the eyes getting lost in the mail again. I got it within two business days. And, on top of that, she told me to keep the lavender eyes and, if they arrived, the 18mm alice blue eyes, as an apology for the trouble.

      I am EXTREMELY happy with how I was treated by DDE, and I am certainly not mad about the mix up. We're all humans, after all, and Wendy -- and DDE -- took great pains to make it right.

      I will eagerly recommend Denver Doll Emporium to other doll owners.

      Very easy. I used paypal and chose to pay in full immediately. (Again, insanely easy. All I have to do is make sure the layaway payments are in my paypal on time. :) )

      Not long at all. I probably would have had them yesterday if not for the federal holiday. (I was able to pay off the layaway due to unexpected early b-day money so..3 days.)

      * How long did it take to ship? I recieved my package on June 10th. I recieved the shiping notice only 2 or 3 days before that. So, it took a little over 2 months for them to place the order/recieve the package from fairyland, and 2-3 days for me to recieve it from DDE.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? I called the company during their business hours and they found that they'd forgotten to send me the sleeping faceplate. They didn't have any non-faceup sleeping plates in stock. They offered to 1) recind my credit card the amount of the faceplate option, 2) send me a faceplate with a face up, but I'd have to pay the extra for the face up, 3) order me another faceplate w/o face up from fairyland at no charge, but this would take another 6-8 weeks. I chose option 3. I have not yet recieved the faceplate, but this is expected.

      * Would you buy this company's products second-hand? Since this is a dealer, I'm not sure it's possible to buy "their" products second-hand. I would consider buying most doll things second hand.
