Luckily, I had other dolls that it fit.

      * When did you order? 4 months ago (did a 4 month layaway), so I believe around June 28th, 2010
      * How was the communication? Excellent, answered all my concerns within 24 hours and were very polite when I had to call them once
      * How easy was it to pay? Super simple, they took out the correct amount from my account once a month and sent me an email every time they did so, all I had to do was give them my card info.
      * How long did it take to ship? He was scheduled to be shipped at the end of September but as I was going to be away on a trip that weekend I asked them to hold him until the beginning of October which they said they would. A week went by after I returned and I recieved no notice and after emailing them it seems they forgot and shipped him out asap. Just a minor fault and he arrived he 4 days later (2 of which were holiday).

I don't believe it to be the fault of DDE but he wasn't packed in his DiM box very well, no cushions or padding though he was bubble-wrapped up nicely. Even so it was obvious he had clattered around a bit during the trip and I'm thankful nothing was broken. In any case I didn't bother DDE about it as I don't think they had any control over it

However I do not wish to pre-order through them again unless they offer an exclusive sculpt or I absolutely need their layaway (which really is a fantastic service). To me, saving $10 on shipping is not worth the extra wait so I'll most likely pre-order direct.

      * Would you buy this company's products second-hand? I did not order DDE products, but a Fairyland doll. I would buy a FL doll second-hand if the price, condition, etc. was right.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? i emailed them-- compared to another wig i had bought, this wig seemed too big-- but since the doll i had gotten the wig for hadn't arrived yet i of course wanted to wait before exchanging it. however by the time my girl would arrive, it would be just outside DDE's 15-day return window. i got a reply saying that it would be perfectly fine to exchange the wig if i needed too ^_^ turned out the wig was indeed too big so i followed return procedures, and also asked them to add a wig cap to my order when they sent the new wig back. everything went perfectly, and the customer service was absolutely wonderful!

      * How was the communication? Great!! I had a few questions which they answered really fast. I also needed to change the day of the last payment, but hold the shipping of the order for a few days. They did this with no problem.

      * How long did it take to ship? They shipped it next day and I received it the day after. :)
      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yes it was, it's an excellent bag, though I will need to put some sort of liner in it to keep it from bending.

      --Poor, did not notify customers of their mistake or of the order delay(s). We only found out by asking Fairyland directly.
      --There was also no mention on Fairyland DDE order page that there would be additional delay because it was an "event" period.
      --No mention of week's delay due to "standard Fairyland annual holiday"
      * How easy was it to pay? Deposit paid 9/4/10, paid in full 11/4/10
      * How long did it take to ship? Shipped 12/10/10 from DDE (working day 69)

      Additional mention:
      Fairyland was extremely helpful and forthcoming to us and made special effort to communicate & finish the order quickly.
      Fairyland checked on specific dolls, replied to every inquiry, and kept us updated on what they were shipping to DDE.
      Denver Doll was non-communicative the entire wait. On 11/4 they said the order "would be here soon" when I asked them.
      I never even received an email or acknowledgement of $200 Paypal payment sent to DDE on 11/4.

      4 month layaway was wonderful. It made the price manageable. They sent me a Paypal invoice every month and it was super easy.

      Fairyland shipped it to DDE November 10th, I got a notice from DDE they were shipping it on the 13th, and it arrived to me on the 15th. :)

      Communication from DDE have always been timely and courteous. However, because I added the hands days after ordering Ante, I never did get an updated invoice listing the complete order. After the order was ready to ship and I was invoiced for the full payment minus the deposit, the invoice did not contain detail of exactly how much shipping was which is very confusing to me.

      Very easy via Paypal

      My doll and #7 hands were shipped on Nov 12. The #5 hands were not in the same batch of order and will be mailed to me later on.

      Absolutely wonderful! A day after placing my order, I made a call to make sure that it went through (since I was having e-mail problems). The lady I spoke with was so kind, and helpful. I also placed the order for the extra hands at this time. Originally I'd only placed a deposit on the order, but decided to pay the remainder of what I owed early. The response and transaction went very smoothly!

      Paypal! Can't get easier!

      I paid for two day shipping. She shipped on the 13th and arrived the 15th, despite the weekend. Then again, I live really close to a major airport, haha. Either way, shipping was as requested!!
