    1. I purchased a B&G Honey Girl from Denver Doll and I also ordered other merchandise. I got an email response letting me know that they got my order. My final layaway payment was due on November 5, 2010 and I truly believe that if I had not called Denver Doll directly I would not have known that they did not have my girl. They were all set to take the last payment w/o telling me that very important piece of information and now I have heard nothing from them at all. I know there policies and procedures, however I feel at this point they have breached the contract that I made with them and I want a refund for my purchase. I was so excited to be getting my first doll, they had 4 months to get her in and they didn't. I know that other people have had trouble as well as success with Denver Doll, but before I purchase anything from them in the future (if I do and that is a BIG if) I will call and make sure the item is in stock before I purchase it. I hope to hear from them soon! I requested from them to ship my accessories and they had the nerve to state they would with charging me $5.50 shipping. Hey, I am not the one who breached the contract, they did.

      Ok so I am waiting to hear back from DDE as I have recently discovered that I missed my third payment last month which I could have sworn I had paid... I was actually checking to see if they had sent me a bill for November yet. Alot has been going on with me, got married on 10/10, then honeymoon and now moving. But I did remember paying, perhaps it didn't go through as I had thought. However, their communication has been lax, sending me a reminder to the wrong email, not the one I had supplied at purchase but the one used for paypal (I am stuck w/ the paypal email and can't change it, and it recieves so much junk mail). ANd they have already closed their payment request about 6 days ago so I am hoping I am not out the $100. I just know I will NEVER do layaway again...as for dealing with DDE, they do state this can happen on their site but I'm hoping they take in consideration everything. I wish they would try by phone or snail mail. It just seems kinda odd to have to "forfit" my money at this point as I'm willing to make the last two payments together today. And this was to be my first BJD...I have clothes, wig and accesories for him that I'm afraid will have to be resold. I can't justify getting another doll when I will be jobless come christmas after I have moved.


      Update: I called them first thing this monrning and after a little blame exchange they told me they could send me the same make of doll with a different skin color (or another Bobobie) so I am reasonably happy....I'm just glad to get something, hopefully it gets here before we move next weekend. The person I spoke with (shannon) was very helpful although a bit annoyed. They have the right, I can be a bit forgetful when stressed out.
       
    3. EXTREMELY POSITIVE
      I have been ordering, buying and putting items away at DDE for almost six years now. I might be a little biased since I live like 10 minutes away from DDE, but every time and I mean EVERY TIME and wether its a doll, wig, shoes, eyes in stock, or something that an order needs to be placed, I have always been served in a speedy, professional time. I've gotten all emails, calls, or FB messages that either my orders have been placed, or in stock and read to be picked up. I have purchased numerous amounts of dolls, from them, shoes, eyes, wigs, and clothing throughout the years and have been extremely satisfied every single time. I've always been able to get them on the phone, or they have emailed me back on the same day, if not hours after. DDE is the best company I know of to deal with ABJD's in the United States. Thank you ladies of DDE, you have made this hobby so much easier and so fun knowing how well you take care of your customers :)

      Some things ship right away if they're in stock, dolls can take longer but they do seem to ship as soon as they receive them. Of course it's always an agonizing wait for Fairlyand but that's because the company is behind, not because DDE is.

      Their prices are good, especially considering you don't pay the EMS shipping from Asia, and the laway policy is great. I couldn't buy al ot of my stuff without layaway.

      It was okay for the most part. I did find their email confusing: they sent me a confirmation email telling me a package totalling $35 with shipping was sent. I contacted them wondering if they'd sent two packages since my order totaled $55 with shipping, but they didn't get it. I just double checked my invoice when the items got here to find out what was going on for sure.

      Extremely easy, but I was nervous leaving it open waiting on a shipping cost.

      They shipped it out the next day and I got it the following Tuesday I think. It wasn't long.

      It must have been shipped out quickly after arriving form DiM. When given a hopeful ETA it was well within that time frame.

      The doll is out of the question, but the silicone caps are amazing and well worth the price.

If we're talking about DDE, then their shipping price is fabulous especially when it only took ONE postal day for me to receive my package despite only paying for standard shipping. If we're talking about Fairyland's products then of course as well. When you look at the price on Fairyland's MSDs in comparison to other MSDs, it seems like they are super expensive... but that price is certainly for a reason! I've never had or played with a doll that posed better than a Fairyland doll and this A-Line body is just added proof. She poses so much better than she did with the B-Line body that I believe that this new body was worth every single penny!

Well, since DDE is a dealer I must say that I WOULD buy Fairyland's products second hand... if I got a great deal on a product that was in suitable quality. But since DDE gets rid of that nasty expensive shipping, I'd say that I'd rather buy new from DDE than used from the Marketplace. Probably because I'm okay with paying a little extra to go with new product from a company I trust.

      48 hours. Sent Monday afternoon, arrived Wednesday.

      Exactly like it. I had requested a photo of a light tan Song in particular, and they sent me the one that they had photographed.

      Production was approximately 60 days or so (give or take, since they have to meet a quota before putting in the order to Dollzone), but it took only a few days to ship from DDE to here (arrived Dec. 10).

      Most definitely! I knew the doll itself would be quality, having seen two Dollzone dolls IRL. I was not expecting the clothes and boots to be so well put together. I was deeply impressed. And the claw hands are simply fascinating and lovely.

      To my surprise, yes they did. I was expecting discrepancies due to being made to order - nothing big or anything to complain about. However, I was surprised to see that everything looked almost exactly like the sale pictures.

      The item was shipped out Dec. 17 and arrived Dec. 20 (so 3 days from when it was shipped and one business day to ship).

      The wig was too tight/small. Also the lady thought that Luna had a face-up on the sleeping face, but it turns out she didn't.

      I don't really think the wig DDE's fault, it was how it was made. As for the face-up on the sleeping face, the mistake was quickly realized and I was refunded the amount before the doll even shipped out. DDE even offered to cancel the order and refund all the money, since the sleeping face was without face-up.

      Yes, they have a quick response and shipping time!

      Sure, I don't see why not.Though they are a go between, so these are not really their products.
       
    19. I want to leave one last hurrah for the fine ladies at DDE, before the year is out. I have on order with them a body for my recently-acquired Impldoll Miguel head and hand (he'll be on a plain guy's body) -- but the more important part of the transaction for me was that they made it possible for me to get a Harley tiny as a gift for a friend. :) They got it to me in epic time, allowing me to get it mailed out well in time for Christmas.

      Thanks to everyone in Denver for the umpty-hundredth time! :)

      * How was the communication? Awesome, I was having payment issues and they did their best and were very nice, even though they didn't know the problem (but I figured it out, see below)
      * How easy was it to pay? A little frustrating, but only on my end because the browser I used was messing up Paypal when they sent their invoice. I used a different browser and it went through with no problems. I also used a Vanilla Visa gift card via Paypal, I was worried it wouldn't work but it seems to be okay. So nothing that went wrong was their fault whatsoever.
      * How long did it take to ship? It was shipped December 10 via USPS Priority Mail, arrived December 15. The tracking number was never updated after it left Denver, but that is the fault of USPS and they do that sometimes. Didn't really bother me since I'm used to that happening with them.
      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Definitely! The LeekeWorld wig is especially lovely. Or rather it was, until the wig started to come apart recently.
      * Did the item look like the sales pictures? Yep!
      * Were you satisfied with the product? Very much so! Until the wig issue.
      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? I sent them an email about the wig, but it's probably outside the return window. They got back to me and said to try combing it out some to see if it gets the volume back, if not then they offered to replace it if they had another one. I worked on it some and now I'm satisfied with it, but I am glad they offered to replace it.

I was actually worried about ordering from them at first (I always am when ordering online from a new place), but I feel very good about them now. Even though I am having an issue, it isn't their fault. So I will order from them again gladly. They have also been very nice and helpful about my problem.
