    1. I had ordered my first doll through DDE Christmas of 2007, and it went amazingly. They were very nice, threw in a bunch of freebies since I was buying a full set and also a complete n00b, and were all around helpful.

      Since then I have stopped by a few times throughout the year (it's a very VERY long drive for me but convenient for no shipping) to buy accessories/eyes/wigs and such. Every time I've been in there, their Customer Service has gotten progressively worse and worse. Not sure why. Maybe they have hired new people to work under them?
      I stopped in once to buy new string and a restringing kit for my doll. Of course since I was new at it, I asked if they had any tips or could help me. Taking apart a doll is kind of scary for the first time. oo; They rudely turned me away, saying that they can't do anything. They didn't even give me any tips! Simply said that they CAN'T (it's a doll store... who would have thought?). Then Wendy came out and said that she could no problem, helped me take him apart, and told me how I should have done it, and gave me a link for more instructions when I got home.
      If you need to talk to anyone, talk to Wendy, the rest of them are VERY rude. She's always been very nice and helpful.

      * How was the communication? Very poor. I had called DDE after placing my order online a few days later to make sure that they got it, spoke to Wendy. She said that they processed it, and it would arrive in 4-6 weeks. Guaranteed it would arrive before Christmas, as it was *supposed* to be a gift. Mid Dec., and I still haven't recieved anything. No e-mail, no phone call. I called them up twice during Dec., spoke both times to someone else who was rude and they simply told me that they 'don't know' where it is or when it's comming. Said I could 'give a picture' of the doll instead. Haha. Mid January and I still have no idea where the doll is. I called them again, and they said 'They have been ordering alot of Little Fee's and Puki's, and the regular doll orders have been pushed back.' That's not right. I have friends who ordered from them AFTER me and recieved their items BEFORE me. ??? I finally get an e-mail on the 20th of January saying he's in the store.
      * How easy was it to pay? I had put a down payment of $106.00 down through the website with PayPal when they ordered him. When my doll finally arrived, they simply *forgot* that I had put a down payment on the doll, and were asking for a much higher price in total.
      * How long did it take to ship? 11 Weeks
      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? The doll is good quality, but the price was not the original price I had expected to pay when I placed my order.
      * Did the item look like the sales pictures? Yes.
      * Were you satisfied with the product? Yes.
      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? I was dissatisfied with their service. I have worked in Customer Service myself for eight years as manager for several different companies, and I know how to work with people and how to treat them. I had politely brought up my concerns and dissappointments to their attention, and they rudely simply told me that 'I could have my money back and they'll just keep the doll.' I hadn't even suggested that I wanted my money back, because it was STILL a gift and I still very much so wanted the doll. They basically told me that they don't give two sh**s if I gave them my money or not because they had enough other people buying their Puki's and LittleFee's now and didn't need my business. That is completely unnacceptable in service. I was baffled.
      * Would you order from this company again? After a year of constantly dropping service, I'm sad to say no. People who have ordered directly from the Doll Websites have recieved their items much faster than I have from ordering through DDE.
      * Would you buy this company's products second-hand? Yes. I like the product, just very dissappointed with the rude service lately. I understand that they're busier now, which is good for them, but that doesn't mean that they can treat the people who aren't buying the new product like dirt. It's still a purchase.

      * Were you satisfied with the product? Not really--and it's not just buyer's remorse. I paid for a Normal Skin and was sent a White Skin. My receipt says NS. At the time I ordered, they claimed they had both in stock. When I checked just now to see how easy an exchange would be, I noticed they changed it to only WS in stock:(
      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? I am going to email them, but as it will take forever and a day to exchange her for a NS, I might try to just trade or sell her,

      8 weeks. However, FairyLand was being hammered with Puki/Little Fee orders. So I understand (and I'm fine with) the longer wait.

      The quality is excellent.

      I was satisfied with my order. However, the wig I picked out wasn't my girl's style. So I'm currently working with Denver Doll on returning the wig and exchanging it for a gift card. Again, DDE did nothing wrong! The wig was in perfect condition, and exactly what I asked for. This was a personal choice. DDE is being very helpful about the whole process.

      * How was the communication? A little... messy. I ordered the doll clothing near the end of August, and waited for a little bit to see if I would recieve any word on whether my order came in or not. When I hadn't heard anything, I emailed them asking if they recieved my order. I got a quick reply saying that my order must have gotten lost among other orders, and that they ran out of stock on the outfits I wanted. We exchanged many emails until we came to the solution that I would order the one outfit, wait for the new shippment to come in (About 4 weeks I was told) and then have it shipped to me with regular shipping. Well, I heard nothing back about my outfit for 4 months. Finally I emailed again wondering what had happened, and recieved a reply that my outfit was ready and packaged, but they forgot to send it. They ended up sending it to me in priority mail (With no extra cost to me) and the outfit arrived today. So despite many complications, the ladies at DD were incredibly nice and friendly throughout the entire situation.
