I definitely window shop a lot more for doll stuff (clothes especially) than I do for things for myself now! And I usually reserve a little from each pay for something fun, most of the time it goes towards doll stuff. Dx
I have bought more clothes for my dolls in the last few months than I have bought for myself they're just so much cuter and fun to buy.... I have a shopping problem as it it.... this hobby has totally escalated it!
Yes, owning a BJD has turned me into a shopaholic!! I have tons and tons of Etsy wishlists, and I have browsed through thousands of Flickr photos, picking up fashion advice. I learned how to dress my dolls by figuring out how other people dressed their own collections, and those same skills translate into shopping for a human body (who knew!? haha). Now I enjoy shopping for myself much more than I ever did. I am also a pro at shopping on Etsy, as my hours and hours of browsing for the perfect Lati outfit would show!
Ahaha, no, I've always been the type of person that feels happiness from spending money sooo yeah, I usually go through phases of things like make up, clothes, anime figures, dolls, video games, charms, keychains, tools. Yeah I have a problem lol
Me too! It pains me to look at my bank account the day after payday, but the joy I feel when I purchase something I want eclipses any worries I might have about money in the near future. 8( Right now it's all about the BJDs and their wigs, eyes, outfits, and faceup materials. I wish my bank would just tell me "NO, DON'T BUY THAT" at a certain point. There's probably an app for that... :P
Yes... yes, it did... clothes, shoes, wigs, accessories... it's a nightmare XD XD And I don't want to wake up, but I'm keeping records of what I buy, I don't want to go bankrupt
I look more than I buy and want to buy more than I need. So yes and no I think it's made me into more of an internet addict than anything else as I can spend hours looking either at dolls or doll-related items!
Yesss I think...everytime I walk into any shop or going around the malls, my eyes always looking for something tiny that'd suit my dolls, and everytime I walk out from an craft store, It'd be with the stuff for my dolls, always....

I spent $400, and my first hasn't even arrived. I didn't even buy clothes, because I want to make them. I've bought wigs, and shoes, and tiny props and tiny print fabric, tiny buttons, etc. I've just taken to closing the tab and looking at the stuff I already have whenever something new grabs my attention.
OMG yes for me too! Like when your about to buy an out fit or a doll that's kinda of expensive and at the time you think it okay to buy this and that for your doll. But then when it arrives you get buyers remorse lol the worst
I was already a shopaholic for books, puzzles, games... now all that is diverted to bjd shopping... more the dolls themselves than actual clothing... it's really hard to find clothes I like... wigs... shoes... also props, hard but fun!
Yes... after I ordered my bjds, I kept on searching Taobao and etsy for their accessories, clothes and wigs even thought they are not here. Now in my cart I have numerous items to be bought which are more than enough for only 2 dolls... xD Also whenever I see other compnaies' bjds, I will just go to their site and look for the bjd I like (hopefully I won't just buy them without thinking much~)
Shopaholic specifically for BJD stuff, yes! Pretty much all of my spare money goes to them now whereas before them, I'd have a good amount of spare cash I would end up just putting into savings. Oi, these dolls!
It turned me into a window-shopaholic! I browse doll sites all the time...luckily I don't part with money easily^^; but I certainly waste a lot of time thinking about spending it lol
