  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     3. I buy all my dolls with face ups so they aren't blank. If I eventually want to change it, I just send them out to someone. The blank look doesn't sit well with me, haha :XD:

    4. I got my first doll with a faceup. When I finally got brave enough to attempt my own faceup and decided to wipe it -- eek! It left traces that I couldn't get rid of. I've heard the same from one other RS Mei owner, and all I can say is... at least I liked where her eyebrows were, 'cause they ain't movin'! :roll:

    5. Amusing shipping circumstances meant that I'll be receiving my *two* first dolls on the same day. Depending on which box I open first, it may or may not have a faceup. The first doll I paid for does not have a faceup. The second does. But if I open the second doll's box first... is she my first doll, or my second? I should really just open the box for the first doll I paid for... first... so that I don't suffer from too much "first doll confusion" in the future. Hehehe. ;)

I ordered my very first doll without a face-up his character has a few marks and other things that I would like to try myself first, than after if I cannot seem to get it I will try to send it away. My only issue is I have an idea for the face but I would have issues trying to explain it to an artist.

    8. I bought my first doll blank and sent her to a faceup artist for a custom look. ShadowedForce ran the panel that introduced me to BJDs and after seeing her dolls I knew she'd do well with mine. :) It was a good choice.

    14. Yes it did! I've never wanted to give my doll to someone for a make-up until I actually gave my Volks for repaint. After that I realized that I want my dolls to be unique and "my own"... So now I buy dolls with default makeup only if I really like it and I can't see the doll in another way. But it's a rather different story xD

    16. all bar one of mine has come with a face-up but most of them are wiped within 1-2 weeks as I decide on the look I want them to have most have had up to 6 different face-ups during the time I've had them, and my poor dc Agatha is still sitting blank 12 months after coming home as im having trouble deciding where to start with her

    17. Alistair, my RS Gang came with a default faceup. I got him when he was in stock at Junky Spot. I wiped it a few days after getting him and gave him one. :3

I purchased my first doll from LUTS and got her with face-up seeing as I don't know that much face-up artists to send her to, and I don't know how to do face-ups yet (I'm pretty sure that I'll end up butchering her face-up if I try to do it myself). In the future, I'll probably end up with dolls with company face-ups, or send them off to face-up artists. Then again, I'd also want to at least try my hand on doing a face-up at least once to get a feel of it. xD
