Dikadoll Kid Discussion part 1

*0* I am gonna get Rena some purple eyes! I am hoping they are as awesome as I think they are~

 

I'd like a hybrid of a dikadollbody in normal pink, with a Supía head in normal pink. Can anyone tell me how the match is ?

 

Has Dikadoll a Flickr account in which the 46cm boy body is put through its paces?
I've got a floating minifee head and wondered if it could make a good hybrid.

Does anyone here have a Guang Nian? I am interested to see an exact measurement on his head.
Also, in general, do DK dolls have larger heads? Every listing on the site says 18.5, but surely they do not all have the exact same measurement.
If anyone could provide me with any of your dolls head measurements, it would be most helpful. I am trying to find a boy sculpt with a larger head to go along with my older Kid Delf girl that has a 19cm head.

 

Hi @Tonboko! I can't speak for all Dikadoll minis, but my AAAAA has a circumference of 7.5" (19.05 cm) when measured from forehead to back of her headcap. Wears a 7-8" Monique wig perfectly.

Compared to my other 1/4 dolls, she certainly has a larger noggin. My Brava Bambi Nia, Angel Fantasy Alice, and Kids-Sky Moonstone also have heads on the 18cm+ side. Wish I owned a Kid Delf---if I did, I'd snap a comparison photo for you.

I am rather tempted to see where my funds are at the end of the month and maybe put a Rena on layaway. She has been on my wishlist for years after all.. and maybe I will just pay a bit extra and get Guang Nian's head and pick him up a body later on.

 

Happy to learn I helped! I owned a Rena head briefly in paper white. I really loved her ears, but I ended up finding her a new home because I never got around to buying her a body.

I know right now Dikadoll's are on sale for their winter event. If you end up buying Rena and/or Guang Nian, please share photos! There's not enough Dikadoll minis around, IMO.

Would anybody here happen to have a v.II 46 cm boy body? I like the look of it but I cant seem to find any pictures of it posing. I particularly want to know if it has that extra mobility joint in the thighs to allow the legs to come up and such.

She is too cute. I especially love her wig and how her lips are painted.
