Sorry for the double post - but I just wanted to update you guys that she got here safe and sound!!! I'm so happy she's here!

 

To those of you that ordered Annabeth, did you notice the magnet at the back of the head shows through? I just got my forwarded from my agent and the resin is thin in part so the magnet kinda shows. It's hidden with a wig of course, but it's annoying. :/

EDIT: Ah got my answer, apparently it's common on the recent ones. Possibly due to the mold not being great.

I did! I think we're actually in the instagram groupchat together? I got an OE Larina and an OE Laia.

 

Awesome. I'm hoping for Gayanne as well. Got Annabeth and Larina. Annabeth is gonna be a boy and I plan to dye Larina but i'm still agonising over her body. I want something curvy and mature, like the model delf or legend bodies. But i'm fussy about boobs hahahahah.

im not sure! i know that the larinas and laias have already been ordered. not sure about the others

 

I just checked the page and it looks like the head I'm interested in is already done.

 

Could I ask how much the heads cost? I wasn't sure how reputable the person was because I disliked how all the info had to be handled through PM. It made me really uncomfortable to even get basic information...

 

my oe larina head was $45 and oe laia was $50 (because less people were interested). the seller sent us screenshots of the order receipt once it was placed :-)

They still need people for Gayanne and i'm all "come oooon people!" lol.

I didn't have the money back when the company did their initial closing down and didn't want to handle floating heads that early in my delving into the hobby but now i'm all "gimmie all the heads!" hah.

Of course now i'm trying to work out bodies for them all. It looks like a 7cm neck is about as big as you want to go as the 8cm of their actual DIM body is waaaaay too big (that is SO wierd). I know I want a curvy feminine body for Larina, i'll likely get a Doll Leaves boy body for Annabeth and IF we get enough orders for Gayanne she'll get a small bust body I think.

2020 is gonna be the year of obtaining bodies for my floating head collection I think hahahah.

 

I ended up signing up for Gayane yesterday. When I did I was told we needed about two or three more people. I also really wanted Annabeth but she was already ordered and paid for.

I tell myself that every year. xD I did alright last year. I got five new bodies, but then I also ordered more heads.

 

hahahah when I started collecting bjds I swore "no floating heads!"
ho how times change.

Such is the peril of small runs and all those "head only" artists. I now have 5 incoming I need bodies for. ERP!

 

Not to mention discontinuation sales.

 

Dang it, I would love to get an Aria and a Gayane, but I am broke right now. Maybe someone will do this again sometime when I have money again... like in about 100 years. :T

 

Last I heard we only needed 2 more for Gayane and the person does layaways!

I'm a sucker for unusual faces, why did DIM have to have so many incredibly interesting face sculpts?

 

I'm in the order for Trisha, Gayane, Luria and a Laia Open Eyed head in NS (I have her in WS but might prefer NS so debating my options). I'm also hoping to get Bellosse but she's SD sized.
