1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

The Loongsoul body is normal pink urethane and it matches very well. DIM is a little more intensely pink, but you don't notice it after a faceup. I did have to replace the s-hook in the LS body because it didn't fit into Miru's neck opening. I'm very happy with it. She's supposed to be about 14 years old, so it's the perfect body type for me.

    2. @thessalyrose She is so lovely!! Thank you a lot for shared pictures. Love this body, very pretty and head not looking big, very balanced hybrid in my opinion. :)

    3. Well, after some thinking about it, I bought the Jullis DIM had in stock! Or at least I hope I have haha.

I am sorry I don’t post photos in the thread, I really ought to. I have had my Benetia for a good couple of years and wanted a companion for her. I bought a DollZone Doreen and it just doesn’t work like I hoped it would, they do not suit each other at all. It finally dawned on me that if I wanted a stylistic match to DiM, maybe I should just... buy another DiM! I like Jullis’s face, I am hoping it will go with Benetia quite well!

Edit: Actually, whilst I am here, I know there is loads of advice for hybriding the girls, but does anybody have any male bodies they recommend for hybriding? I have no resin match preferences, I will be dyeing the doll. I was thinking possible Miracle Doll’s msd body, I quite like the look of it. I want something shapely for sure, not tube limbs.

    4. I was eyeing a longsooul body, so it's good to see one. I like that it's a bit chunkier around the bottom. Heh. I always like some body variation.

As for male bodies, I was leaning toward the doll leaves boy bodies for my heads, but I like to try heads on bodies I have before I commit.
I think about 6.5-7cm is the neck size you want for the DIM msd? But I honestly haven't seen that many boys. hmm.

the Miracle body is nice but looks to have a really thick neck? But the neck sizes on the DIM heads seems to be really inconsistant. Ace and Julius don't fit the v2 boy body supposedly which has a smaller/narrower neck than the type 1 body... so erm...

Someone earlier in this thread mentioned they had an Ace? or Julius, one of them, on a Charmdoll body and those look to have a neck of 7.5cm.

I look forward to seeing your dye work. I want to dye at least one of mine a nice brown because damnit, I WILL have more brown dolls! gragh.

    5. I am not too worried about neck sizes, I have modded necks before. Though of course it is always nice to not have to mod! However, based on the measurements, it should actually be an exact fit.

I will look for the post you mentioned! There are so few photos of Ace or Jullis around (there are more in Japanese communities but I can’t navigate those too well), so I would love to see any photos at all.

    6. it's awkward isn't it? The confusion about neck sizes does NOT help at all.
this is part of the reason I really want to check the heads on bodies before I commit to buying a body just for them. I COULD mod a neck but I don't wanna.
      its a pain.

    7. Is DiM still selling heads on their website? I thought they went out of business last year?! I would love to get a Larina!

    8. I did notice they seem to have a few available, open eyed Larina is one of them

    9. Hmmm.... for some reason it won’t let me order. It tells me to choose the shipping company, and I pick EMS, but when I go to confirm the order it keeps saying to select it, even though it already is? Idk...

*edit* never mind. Got it to work on my iPad. It just wouldn’t work on my phone for some reason.

    10. @dxgirly I might be wrong, but the impression I am getting is as-follows: Everything is officially discontinued, but the sculptor is amenable to casting dolls on demand, as long as enough people place an order for that doll (or enough orders at once). The items left over from those group orders (spare heads or parts for whatever reason) go up on the site as in-stock items.

So you can't easily order any sculpt you like, but simultaneously it is not impossible to get a sculpt you like! You can either wait to see if it goes in-stock on the site, or gather a group order together.

Again, I might be wrong about the exact arrangement, but I think it's really neat for DiM to do things this way! I quite wish it was a bit more widespread. It would probably put less pressure on makers too, if they had ordering systems that only worked by enough folk putting in orders at once, before dolls are casted.

    11. Group orders are definitely a thing, I got my Annabeth through one. You can also order some sculpts through their Taobao, which is how I got my Larina when she was sold out on their site.

    12. I was a little upset to find out that apparently Annabeth was available on the DIM site again, and I missed it! I couldn't get that head on the group order...

I wish they had some alert system or something so I would know when they do sell new Happy heads on their website... It's a shame they don't take "normal" orders anymore. Their doll sculpts are so lovely!

    13. Can you please share the taobao site?

I try to order from them, two weeks ago, and they keep me waiting ... to in the end say that they cound´t ship to my country in this moment, to which I replied that I didn't mind paying and waiting until they could send the heads and again no answer which is not really nice, I really want Larina too.

    14. @nattherat thank you for the explanation! I ended up buying a Larina and a Flowne human head the other night, and they emailed me about an hour ago asking if I wanted the Flowne is NS or WS, and then in a reply, confirmed that the Larina’s they have are all NS.

    16. Well that was quick! Just got an email saying they’re shipping them out to me tomorrow. They’re coming EMS from Korea to the US, though, and I think that’s taking awhile, at the moment. Still, pretty cool that they were in-stock and able to be shipped so quickly!

    17. Haha I just came here to say the same! My Jullis has shipped. I am excited! Though I have read that Miracle Doll takes 9 months to make a doll, and I have not ordered the body yet (and won’t be for a while, pacing the doll funds). I am in for a long wait before this doll will be assembled it seems!

    18. @deathdoll Oops I mispoke aha, I got my Larina from an official DiM dealer on Taobao, but this is the dealer 默认宝贝分类页-BJD 山贼的大本营-淘宝网

@erika2 Oh what a shame, Annabeth is a gorgeous sculpt. Maybe just keep an eye out for future group orders on insta? I missed out when I first found out they did group orders, but got in on the next one

    19. thankyou very much! But how I am sure is a legit one and not recast?

I also find this reseller dollk, how do I know is a legit one ?

    20. This dealer was shared earlier in the thread by @Rinoa who confirmed with DiM that they're an official dealer
