I love everyone's girls!! They are all so beautiful and unique. I love the dark gothic look of the Bellosse that you've done. I've tried the goth look with mine, but it just doesn't work for Alyce. I played a bit with my Bellosse/Alyce today.

Ordered a Bellosse today. I'm so exited and curious about this doll. She wasn't in my dolly plans but I just couldn't resist that face! I got a Benetia through the marketplace so I'm thinking Bellosse can be her big sister. I've never seen a DiM doll in real life and I have no idea what to expect. I don't find their promo pictures very appealing so I was very surprised when I came over a picture of Benetia first which led me to look for more pictures, and in the search I came over a picture of Bellosse. I couldn't believe the doll in the owner pictures was the same default doll as in DiMs pictures.

 

I'm with you on the company photos. I never liked Kassia and couldn't understand why people even liked her until I saw some owner's pics of her. I kept going back and looking at them until I had to buy her

Does anyone have any idea where I can find shoes for DIM Flora? TIA!

 

Anyone know what kind of shoes fit Bellosse well? I used to have a Bellosse and remember having a hard time finding shoes to fit her. I remember Elfdoll and SD13 boy shoes fit her, but that's all. I'm hoping Leeke shoes fit, but I'm not holding out too much hope.

BTW, I ordered Bellona (Bellosse) on December 16th and I can't WAIT until she gets here!!!

I have been lurking and enjoying everyone's beautiful photos since I want a Bellosse.

 

I am ordering my Bellosse soon and wanted to know if anyone tried Dollzone SD shoes, it looks like they may be the right length but I know her feet are wide. I heard shoes are hard to fit for this girl and I like shoes....This thread keeps me going thanks for all of the beautiful pics..

 

I don't know about dollzone, but the leekeworld SD shoes fits her perfectly, and dollheart shoes too.

Sorry to necro the thread, but I have a gorgeous Bellosse head and I'd like to know what kind of body would make a good hybrid for her? Which companies would be a good match for DiM resin? I love Doll Chateau and Feeple60, but proportionally I don't know if they'd fit.

 

Hi Jessica! I'm not sure about Feeple60, but I've seen a Doll Chateau hybrid by Phantomdolls. She had both a Bellosse & Kassia hybrid - here are some photos from her flickr:

I'm not sure how old the head you have is - but there have been some big differences in DIM's resin colors over the last few years. I have a Bellosse head from 2009 or early 2010, and the color is more of a white skin with a little bit of pink to it. However, a friend of mine has a Bellosse from 2012, and the resin is MUCH pinker. If you're curious about resin matching, let me know - my friend had DZ jointed hands in 'normal pink', and I can direct you to photos of that so you can see the color difference. Also, I'll be attending a local meet-up on Friday and I *think* someone in our group has a Feeple60 body. I can't make any promises, but I might be able to take a couple photos of the hybrid with my older Bellosse head. And, if your head is newer, I have a brand new Lalia head that I could photograph as well, for resin matching purposes.

 

The Bellosse head I've got is either late 2012 or early 2013, so still relatively new. She looks quite pink to me and definitely isn't a match for any of the other dolls I've got here.

If you're able to take pictures of your Bellosse head with the F60 body, even if it's just close by, that would be fantastic, thank you! It's proportion I'm interested in as well as resin matching. I love the look of Bellosse and Kassia on DC bodies, but I'm not sure whether that would suit the character I have in mind now that I've seen them.

 

Wow that DIM/DC combo is really amazing, it has that slight Big Head look that I really love.

 

Busy doing the blushing stage of my Bellosse's head. She's called Ziylora and I have a pair of 14mm Volks HG eyes in Blue (Black lines) and a Leekeworld wig in limited Sakura pink from years ago. I got the wig because I liked the colour but didn't have anyone in mind for it, and the eyes were bought for a doll long since sold, so I'm glad I'm getting to use things I already have on hand for her.

Annoyed though. I washed and carefully dried the faceplate before sealing and after I'd put down the first coat of sealant there was fluff on the head

 

Oh noes! Well, at least it didn't happen after the final coat, after completing the face-up. I'm planning on taking some photos for you on Friday - I'll probably get them posted later that night or on Saturday. In the meantime, I'm crossing my fingers that you won't get any more fuzzies!
