Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Shhhhhh! XD Now I'm looking for a new dress to take photos with her in since the one I ordered for myself won't fit anymore by the time she gets here, but the dress I ordered for her is the white version of one of these from the marketplace. So you'll get to see her running around in ruffles quite often.

      As far as I know, he is PR or might be the owner. I don't know for sure, I've never asked. Maybe next time he pops online he can verify for us.

      I do know that he is great to work with and a perfectionist. Even though he's giving me these sample heads at no cost to me, he keeps taking them back to make minute changes that wouldn't bother me in the least, but he wants her to be PERFECT.

      And I'm not mad. I can easily understand where people are coming from asking for the photos I sent in. However, I chose not to share them for my own reasons and will not share them in the future.

      Did I hear right that it's $600 for both an normal head and a sleeping head?

    4. $600 gets you:

      1 Open eye head
      1 Sleeping head
      Faceup on one head or the other (your choice) not including applied eyelashes

      As far as I'm aware, that's how it breaks down. And I THINK he said that if you want additional faceups, its another $50. The way it was worded, though, made it sound like if you wanted additional heads cast, but that's something we'd have to ask Denny because he had me a little confused on that one.

      I havn't seen him online much lately. He must be awefully busy these days.

    6. THIS IS AMAZING!! :o I was admiring the wonderful work on the original sculpt as I was paging through this thread -- it's just wonderful -- but seeing the picture of the person behind the doll-face, so to speak, really puts it in perspective.

      The doll is you, but with big eyes :) She's... GORGEOUS! Congratulations!!!


      Now I'm positive I wouldn't want one of me :) ... but my girls, maybe :) I have some beautiful kids and it would be so neat to have them at this stage forever :)


      Oh, and I *totally* understand the wanting to share when you have a picture you're comfortable with. Extreme closeups expose every line, bump, wrinkle or what have you. Even someone as lovely as you are would almost have to be a little less than wild about that kind of shot going public. (I can't even handle the very best pictures of me ever taken going "out there" X| )

      I'm hoping that the promotion will be going better one I have her in hand and can take the photos together with her. Once people see how accurate she is, I'm sure they will want one of their own.

    20. Well, mine didn't take nearly as long to make as Denny predicted excepting the current modifications that he's having done to the neckhole and the headcap.

      It took about a month to sculpt, cast and paint, then it will probably be between 2-6 weeks for her to arrive to the US once she's shipped.

      So it depends on how far off her birthday is :)
