Dim Minimee Update & Talk Part 1

hi guys! this is my first time posting here! I've been stalking this tread for real long time and read almost everything post here....but never really joined the talk, same reason that I haven't get a chance to get a Minimee YET! I was really planning on getting one in future! *SIGH*

I never thought things could be ended this way... and so sorry to hear this bad news TT_TT but Cheer up Denny! everthing will turn out fine I hope! ^^

 

Aww... .Burrenoir, look on the bright side of things!!! I am sure Denny will find a new, wonderful team!! And when he does both you and I will be able to get all the Minimee's our wallets will allow!! {and hello, this is a long thread isnt it!!!!!}

 

I think you'll find a lot of people will still support you Denny, particularly from this board. I'll not buy any Minimees except from you simply because the service is so excellent and the communication is so good. Dollkot don't have Denny so I won't buy from them XD

 

it seems that Dollkot has taken down thier minimee section entirely in all the confusion x_X maybe this is..a good sign somehow? *optimism*

 

You're still talking bad things about a company that as Denny stated, has been a victim too, like DIM.
Denny, you have all my support in this, but people are starting to make conclusions for themselves and they may be wrong, can you clarify this, please?
I personally would like to know what's exactly happening.

 

I think that Dollkot were indeed an innocent party in this. If they were approached by Denny's team leader, why wouldn't they use the name 'minimee' and the photos they were given as examples? If that's what the team leader was calling the project, they'd hardly question the name.

And for the photos, they probably thought they were the property of the team, and that it would be okay to use them. Basically, it sounds they've been tricked, doesn't it?

 

That's how it sounds indeed.
And that was told by Denny himself (or herself, sorry, i don't know if you are a man or a woman).

EDIT: Anyway, just a tought that has come to my mind, if the minimee project has been retired from both DIM and Dolkot web site, what stops these guys from starting their own company and selling whatever they want there?
Is not correct, but think about it, who will notice they are the same guys who "betrayed" Denny and lied to Dolkot?
These guys doesn't have any bond with any company anymore, just think about it.

Sad, but this is how these things work, people is not always nice, you know.
Anyway, these guys doesn't have my respect, for what they did.

 

yes, thats what i ment >_< i was saying that it seemed Dollkot realized they had been tricked and did the right thing by takeing down the minimee section accordingly until this is all worked out. kudos for them

 

K-teto: Well, as Denny said, they're not really 'BJD' makers. Just sculptors - he had to teach them about BJD, and I'm sure about things like eye sizes. And the team leader has shown how ignorant he is about the hobby by rushing off to another company, and not realising that buyers (us) would notice. That's REALLY naive. So, he doesn't strike me as the type of person to think things through.. I doubt he'd make it in this sort of market.

I ... like several others... have been stalking your thread devotedly and dreaming of future minimees I'd like.

I'm soooo sickened to hear about how you have been treated. You're an innovator and a wonderful person and I'm totally on the same page as everyone else. I will NEVER order a "minimee" from someone else. This was your project and your idea and your team leader should be ashamed of himself.

I have a minimee body and event head on order and i hope those still come through but if not don't feel bad. You've been treated horribly by someone you trusted and it's just awful.

Denny you are such a sweetheart. Why do such kind people get jerked around?

Denny, I love your Minimee project and I would never order one from Dolkot. It is unfair that they have done this and I hope that they will stop this. You are the creator of Minimee and they have no right to copy you. I really really hope this gets worked out!!!

Do you read the threads?
You won't order one from dolkot because dolkot retired them too from their web site, blame these guys who went and tried to make profit from what Denny taught them, and I'm not talking about Dolkot.
I'm sure that Denny will continue selling minimees in the future, just be calm and wait for it.
You guys know something about diplomacy and about not rushing with comments that may hurt someone who doesn't deserve it?

I'm sure you will not be dissapointed, I have confidence in Denny too, and that's what made me take his (or her ^_^u) words as true, as he stated clearly that the other company involved didn't knew what was happening.

Negative comments about any of the parts involved doesn't help at all.

 

K-teto: Not everyone has the time to read back through this thread, as it's long and actual information does get lost in the well-wishing comments. Everyone will realise what's going on in their own time.

 

I was just on Dolkot, and the minime thing on there is gone D:... So what happens now ._.?
