Dim Minimee Update & Talk Part 1

We are still waiting for our new Gackt Minimee pictures.. T^T

 

woot, I just got a shipping notice on my BODY! Now if only Vincent's head would get here soon after before JD takes the body over permently!

 

I was wondering how long it took everyone to get their bodies (or heads) after they got their shipping notice from DIM?

I know EMS can be pretty fast, so am hoping maybe a week!!!

 

It took about 5 days for my heads to arrive. It was REALLY fast!

 

Once my Minimee body was shipped, it took three days - the day I found out it was shipping, the shipment itself, and then the arrival date. EMS is so, so, SO fast when it comes to Indiana for some reason.

 

if it was discussed 146 times, then could you, please, just send me in a right direction..? though, i have several questions:
-is it still possible to order msd size head?
-which body do suite them (may be there's a place i could see some photos) ?
-to make group order is cheaper?

bianka - It's not possible to order MSD heads anymore; but DIM do special Minimee bodies for the project, which are available through their website They usually have a special offer including a free doll head, too!
If you make a group order of 10 people, each head is only about $112 each ^^

 

I read that they are two heads for $380. Why two heads? Just curiosity. Which bodies will fit the head's resin?

 

As psyence said above, DIM do a male body especially for the Minimee heads now, but no female body as yet. The resin comparisons are still going on, you should check in the Request section of the Gallery, as there are some good photos in there. I think Dollmore and Iplehouse have been good matches, but I doubt any of them are perfect.

And I think two heads because... they're really nice? XD

 

I would like to order a korean actor face, can I do that?

 

2 heads, because otherwise it wouldn't be worth the cost of sculpting and making the mold ^^

Each recast after the original 2 is $70. The group orders are so much cheaper because it is something like $380 + 70 x 8 / 10...... or something. After 10 pm. Brain no worky. XD

I'm giving my recast Minimee a faceup right now I'm really pleased with how well it's come out so far

EMS ships to Wisconsin fast too. I ordered things from two different companies in Korea and they both were got here three days after the shipment notice with EMS. I hope it's the same with my minimee

Well... his name is Yoo Geom and he was the main character of the kdrama "Hello, Mr. God". I don't even want to think too much about the drama because I start to cry (hightly reccomended). I don't think that his face is too difficult to make ( I hope so). I really like his innocent face and eyes... Dunno, maybe I'm still affected by the drama

wah.... I need type D for my other doll. I wonder if they would fit. Denny, is it possible to get copies of the standard hands? I might need some to test resin dying.
