Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I for some reason cant grasp what the whole event is about. Can someone explain it? :sweat

      Dont they make more money by casting 10 heads. They would only have to sculpt one time, and that, I think, is what costs the most!

    3. Hi ^^ here is the idea.

      I receive pictures from customers, and normally the expression on minimee that they want is differnt. Something like...open mouth, smaller eyes, or elf ears, or no smiling / smiling.
      This kind of special requirment will make the minimee different.

    4. Oh, absolutely not, personally it doesn't bother me in the slightest. If I was worried about money, I'd not be in the hobby at all XD!

      I'm more thinking about other people than myself, although they're welcome to tell me I'm barking up the wrong tree. It just doesn't seem fair - if a GO was organised through PMs, and one person ordered a Minimee head and 8 recasts for friends... would they get it for the promotional price? Or would the company refuse it? Would the company put a limit on the amount of heads available for cast at the promo price? In which case, I can see the number of people in an individual GO dropping quite rapidly.

      That said, the GOs are a very good deal in themselves. I just think that perhaps a promo could be made for those people too - a special one, maybe $10 off or something, not the full whack. I don't wanna knock the project, and I think this is an amazing offer (which I hope to take advantage of as well), but I do think that people are losing out here through no fault of their own.

    5. Oh, I totally understand. Still, I think one of the things we just have to bear in mind is that this is a hobby that relies upon a lot of trust between its constituent members. I think we'd just have to hope that people were honest, even if that seems naive. I do think people would hopefully understand, and be willing to settle for the fact that they were getting a good deal even if they could get a better one by being dishonest.

    6. Hi ^^ yes, I fully understand about it.

      I really want to offer the same deal to GO as well.
      But if I do, it will go over limited 10, (I don't mind about it)

      If everyone in the group order want to join the event,
      I have no problem at all.
      But then, it will be surely over 10 limited and the rule will be gone.
      (I mentioned before, yes, extra heads are good for my team and me too as
      we get small margin from it when we sell an extra head for 70$.)

      Today, I am getting many e-mails about GO extra heads and
      let's make it a special occasiono to break the limited 10 for everybody happy within this event period.

      Would it be ok ?

    8. Personally, I wouldn't mind the GO heads going over the 10 limit =X But, of course I am biased because I want one ;)

      Perhaps you could extend the limit for the duration of the promo?

    9. Denny, if it helps the future of the project, extending the promotional deal to cover GO as well sounds like a good plan. There may be some people who disagree and think that the deal isn't fair, but you can't please everyone.

    11. Yes, absolutely, this is for future business and to keep this project.
      You know, I cannot keep this project if I get 10-20 orders per month in next few months.

      So That's why I want to do several promotion to get people involved in this project worldwide.
      If somebody remember at the beginning of this project, I limited only 30pcs for minimee per month.
      At that time, the team is not well set up.
      But the situation is different now, we have a good team with number of sculptors and we are able to do more jobs together without expanding the delivery period.

      But ^^ the orders are not going up as this is very pricy for individuals.

      Anyway, If I don't get more orders, maybe I can get more extra heads to keep this project.(I am a businessman...so sorry about my idiot thought)

    12. Eeep! I do hope the project doesn't close down before I get to order mine. Must find way to scratch the funds together faster, just in case. *frantic*

      I don't know how much help I'd be promoting the project in my country, South Africa doesn't seem to be filled with much doll enthusiasm, but when I do finally get my custom boy, I fully intent to take him just about everywhere and tell everyone where he came from. ^^

      I think the special events are a great idea if it helps keep the project afloat. I might not get access to the group order threads this month (I think my 25 probation days only ends in Dec), but the entire thing gets a big thumbs up from me. Which is a totally lame thing to say, isn't it? Lol.

      I am terribly sorry to tell you guys that we are not able to produce the tanned skin for minimee.
      After having a discussion with my team.
      We are not confident to produce it.
      Maybe we need a lot of time to do this and can't afford to do at the moment.
      Therefore, the plan is cancelled.

      (However, we will try again in the future for some of people who really need it)

    18. Okay wait, so I'm confused. What is it now? Initially, Denny said it's $40 across the board for group orders and individual recasts during the event period. Then I read it's excluding group orders, after some people weren't too happy about it... so has this been changed? Is it $70 or $40 for a group order extra head now? *_*

      if you go back to read the thread, it's edited.

      Within this event period, it's 40$ plus shipping
      When the event is finished, the price will back to 70$

      - For individual customers : 40$ per head

      - For Group order : 40$ per head

      - For new Group order :

      380$(430$ for Celebrity) + 70$ for up to 8 extra heads,
      and extra heads over the limit(extra 8 heads) , will get the 40$ as event too.

      I think this is the fair price for all people(New orderers and people who already ordered and not got shipment yet)

      I hope this gives you the idea ^^

    20. I can't find the thread :doh So ummm... let me try to get this right... I get the individual customers part, but...:sweat

      for existing group orders (which have already been paid for, but haven't been cast/shipped yet), it's now $40 for extra heads ? Does this mean we get a refund of $30 on each of our 8 extra heads (unlikely, lol)? Or does $40 only apply to extra heads after the first 8 extra...?

      So for new group orders placed during the event period, is it $40 per extra head (after the first 2), or $40 only after the first 8 extra? ...Or is this part meant for new group orders placed after the event period is over?

      I'm sorry I don't seem to be grasping this :...(
