Dim Minimee Update & Talk Part 1

Wow... I don't even know the real Kaoru and still I find this doll absolutely gorgeous and wonderful. He's so perfect it's hard to even believe he's a doll o,o *is inspired to get her minimee even sooner*. Congrats!!

 

LOL he is from the same Japanese rock band [Dir en grey] as my Die and Toshiya Minimee ^_^

Kaoru is my very first Jrock love...oh wait second, first was Közi XD
But gahhhh I'm soooo happy, he was already gorgeous in clay but in resin god he KILLS!! @w@

 

Lysel I would move that thread to the incoming dolls' subforum. The mods are going to get on you for starting a thread in the Group Order section .. you're not supposed to chat in the marketplace.

Sorry if this has been asked before but, with the optional hands, if you choose either A, B, C or D, will the Minimee body also come with normal hands? Or just with the optional hands?

Denny and his team can't do tan right now, but possibly in the future. Smaller dolls also aren't being made.

 

Sabriell, I think the hands are designed to be extras so you'd get both the default and any extra hands you ordered- at least that's what I ordered

Okay, just kind of an FYI since we've had so many maganets and children issues here in the states. The maganets in my JD head fell out when I took it out of the box. I refixed them with super glue, but if my son had found them first...>.<

 

Torimiko -- how awful! Good thing you noticed!! O_O I've never had a problem with the magnets in my minimee heads (or other companies for that matter) but I can see where that would pose a problem, especially if you have children or pets.

 

Ohhh... Yeah, I've heard about magnet problems. I need to remember to keep my little magnets away from my cat. She likes picking up tiny things in her mouth...

 

I'm curious. What types of bodies are you guys using to go with the heads? In general, how much would you guys say you are paying for an entire doll. I.E. the two basic heads, a body, wig, eyes. I'm just trying to figure out a general idea of how much I'll need to spend.

I have never had dolls like these before, so I am having trouble with attaching the head to the neck. Do I need some kind of a neck piece to hold the hook in place inside the head? It keeps slipping out right now.
(I know I'm stupid...)
