Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     3. Elf Piper- I agree! Happily both companies sell them separately.

      Buddydoll just has the one resin colour - I'll have to double check whether that was a NS Johnny or a WS, I really hadn't looked. ^_^;;

      RE - DZ, which NS do you have? DZ now makes them in NS yellow and NS pink. I think I have of the NS yellow around, so I'll check tomorrow and take pics. ;)


      Lysel- I like it! Especially the lips :) Is that a scar on his eyebrow?

    4. I'm really liking that Buddydoll body. :)

      I don't know which my DZ is, I got him before they had the two normal colors. I'd tend to guess yellow but who knows! I put a picture of him in the comparison thread.

      I do also have a pair of the DZ girl high-heeled feet and they are much closer to the Minimee NS, but again, I don't know what color they are. There didn't seem to be a choice when I got them.

      Some of people are very concerned about the copyright issue of the celebrity.

      I would like to clarify this service as below.

      We do not sell celebrity dolls and only take money for our labor force.
      But people who sent me message has a point that if people order the same person over and over, it will be a kind of problem.
      And I agree about it.

      Therefore, I will not take same characters over and over.
      (I need time to think about it)

      I do not want to make fans of those celebrity upset.
      Perhaps, I can delete the service of group order.

      It's sometimes difficult to make all people happy. So ^^ it's hard.

      Anyway, I will not take orders for the celebrity who already made as minimee for several times from 2008.
      Therefore, if anyone who is involved those celebrity, this is your last chace.

    9. I've been impressed with all the minimee heads I've seen so far. That Vincent model makes me want to make an Egyptian leonine figure out of him!

      Speaking of animals, as in Laamberry's post, how should an artist handle a Naga-type body? As a rigid OOAK-type epoxy cast resin like some of the mermaids on plauqes, or as some sort of articulating-spine inside a half-person half-reptile figure with no legs? It's an interesting artistic and anatomical challenge. Also, maybe using some sort of a cobra hood behind the minimee head? That would be interesting.

      I should explain that I have an interest in this just as I have in the Burmese tribes we call Nagas (among other things), in the Hindu art and mythology related to dragon-like rain figures, and the development of gaming characters, all based on a name originally picked up for a character from reading Kipling.

      Denny, Does that mean, If I order a new sculpt ...say Tom Cruise right now, and 5 months later, someone else wants Tom Cruise will you make Tom Cruise for them?
      Or do you mean, you will not sell me 20 Tom Cruise heads?

      Another question:
      What about modified version of celebrities. What if I ordered Tom Cruise and 5 months later, someone sends in Vampire Tom Cruise, would you make Vampire Tom Cruise which is a different character in movie but same celebrity?

    11. So - to clarify - Starting in 2008 if a celebrity has already been ordered then that celebrity is not eligible for anyone to order again?

      It's tough but fair. In the end, I really wouldn't want Denny to get into any legal trouble.

    13. I am thinking to keep the 10 heads per character.

      So if the minimee order is done by an individual = 2pcs
      then I can accept orders until it goes to 10pcs

      but if there is a Group order, I will not take another minimee order for the same person.

      This is the new rule of 2008 for me and for others.
      This can keep this project without any problem I think.

    14. Um I have a question?? say if one person ordered a celebrity individually and then someone did a Group Order of that same celebrity. Could you only get 9 heads??

    15. It will be 8 extra heads will be left for ordering and there will be no extra head.

      This new rule effects from Jan.2008

    19. That would be extremely helpful so we don't get our hopes up for dolls that can't be ordered.

      Also there is a list of people who'd like to get a Johnny Depp head made. Is this not possible seeing as there was the J.D. event head?

      I'm a little bummed but I totally understand where Denny's coming from. Guess we'll just have to try our best to get in on the first GO of anyone we like. :sweat

    20. To Check what quanity is available for minimee : write your inquiry at dim board with a picture and name so that I can reply.

      I will make a list for my self only to check this out.

      And this is a 10 limited but cannot decided it should be forever or every year or every 2 -3 years.
      Because I am not sure how long this service will last.
