  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     2. I don't think it would be a good idea to wait any longer than January. Yes, many people were waiting to spend money until after the holidays, but every month and every day may put Denny and his company in jeopardy of copyright violations. What about the people who are saving but it will take them a year to do so? Should he start in April? May? Next year?

      Miyabi, Kyo, Gackt, Cloud, Toshiya.

      I thknk those heads are already made and being made.
      So No more orders will be accepted.

      And please do not command me to do .......about this service please.
      Some people keep sending me messages giving their advice,
      I understand what people are concerned, but it makes me headache.

      I rather end this minimee service if I get pushed like this.

      I was happy because people send me good messages about our work,
      but I realize that this can hurt the fan of the artists.

      Please understand that there will be no more orders on those artists.

      If I continue this service, only 10pcs limited per model(regardless of opened eyes and closed eyes).
      So this is clear now and it will make the minimee very special.

      By the law in Korea, these kinds of works are never been in court as this is something very complicated one.
      It regards as 2nd creature like Parody, and I don't upload those artist or characters at website to use commertially.
      So I guess, this isn't a big problem in Korea. But if this kind of works get very popular in the world and making a lot of money, then it will be a problem.
      I do not think it makes a big fortune.

      If you want to check out things, please ask any artist with a picture to make it as a sculpt, and you will realize how much money they want you to pay.
      I am sure, it will be at least 3,000 ~ 5,000$ per sculpt.
      We only charge 380$ ~ 430$ minimum which cannot be understood in the artist group.
      That's why I say, I need a kind of 30 orders at minimum to keep this project as I am working with a team.

      But rather than the money itself, I really enjoy this project and I do not want to make any trouble with people who sent me messages about copyright issue.

      I am sure as long as this goes to limited small quantity, it will not have a problem with artists.

      But i can see the reasons why and i respect your decision for the benefits of the company and everyone here =).

    6. I think you've been very fair about everything Denny, and although not everybody is going to be keen on the new rules, we are grateful to you for offering this service to us in the first place. :)

      I think this makes the Wishlist thread more important than ever, too ^^ If everybody keeps an eye on it, hopefully nobody will get left out if they want to join a GO for certain heads in future. Is it possible to make that thread more prominent perhaps?

    7. I'm sorry Denny for asking this, but I want to be sure that I completely understand this correctly.

      I have emailed with you a few times this past week asking about creating dolls, limited number of 20 to 50, for me from my own artwork and this hadn't been mentioned in the emails. I am guessing this is something fairly new that you have decided on.

      My question for you is, does this apply to ALL minimee sculpts or only to ones made of famous people or characters because of possible copyright problems?

      I am so sorry indeed to make you unhappy.
      This is the only way to keep this project running and I am not able to accept any orders for those artists in any version.

      I know people will be upset about it...but if I accept those orders, there will be a problem as some people send their warning messages to me.

      I do not want to make any trouble with the fan of the artists, I know they are all deelply love in the artists and I respect that.

      Therefore, I will not able to take any new orders for Kyo, Gackt, Miyabi, Toshya, Cloud etc on.

      I hope people can understand it and I really hope to make people happy with all my heart.

      A kind of sad day..but it has to be...for fair and run this project.

    12. I am little shocked to hear that people have sent such nasty emails…

      As a business you have to do what you have to do and sometimes that means not pleasing everyone.

      Well, hopefully you get less email-abuse about how much you are charging us{or not charging us!}, commanding you to do things, and copyright litigations.

      It’s sad that not everyone can get what they want, but… hopefully you can continue this project.

      I mean I asked Denny to keep an eye my orders, because some people contacted me if they could order an extra head from my order,
      but dang I never thought people would actually demand that the team stopped making them alltogether O_O

      That is just....selfish....=_=;;

      And yes Denny, please don't feel too bad about it...cause I REALLY hope people will understand!

    14. I support Denny's decision as leader of the Minimee project. I know that a lot of people on DoA feel very involved in this project and it always rises such strong emotions in people when they get denied things they want. However, I think we need to remember that while it is Denny's decision, he is a business man and it's not fair to take out our anger on him. What he's doing makes good business sense after all.

      I totally understand those fans, actually I had an experience in Korea too.
      When a person showed her minimee to people, some...no many of them were so strong about it.
      that's the reason I do not take minimee orders of Korean artists in domestic.

      Anyway, Thank you so much for understanding and please let me know if anyone who participated in those group order of the artists, if you ever order at dim, leave a message that you were participated in orders that were cancelled by the new rule.
      Then, I send you a pair of hands for a gift.

    19. Denny - I can certainly understand where you and your team are coming from - legally it would be a nightmare if some artist decided to press charges, and I know I'm not the only one who's supporting you fully in the decision.

      I know disappointment affects different people in different ways, and I'd hate to have you feeling stressed about people demanding that you have to make something for them! People need to appreciate you and your team more - after all, you are providing us a wonderful service and there is no requirement anywhere that said you had to....
