Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. ok, let me see if I understand it completely. If I decide, for example, to order a celebrity head of Angelina Jolie it may looks like the wonderful doll is around in DoA which is gorgeous! but I can also chose her at 50% which means that she may look like tomb raider, right? Hum... that's actually interesting...:abambi: Maybe I would like to go for the BJD style so she will fit better with my other dolls (Angelina)... I think she may look wonderful anyway:)

    3. Celebrity heads are only done at 80% real. But, if you wanted to, you could just request a head of Lara Croft if you want the 50% realism.

    4. I thought celebrity minimees were a MAXIMUM of 80%, but could be done at BJD level realism if desired? There are BJD style celeb heads around, and I didn't hear about a new rule being made regarding it.

    5. That's my understanding as well. You can order 50% or 80% realism for ANY head you order. But if the person is a celebrity you're going to pay more, no matter which level of realism you choose.

    6. Hi ^^ wow ~ Let me clear it ^^ out

      I am terribly busy at the moment due to the exhibition ~

      The 50$ that I take more from Celebrity minimee or Animation character is because they are much more difficult to sculpt than normal people.

      Normal people send their pictures and have detailed of face, but Celebrity mostly have so much face up done and different angles and sometimes can't see the eyes clearly.

      So regardless of the realistic or BJD Style, we take 380$ for none celebrity, but for celebrity = 430$

    8. Denny Kim - do you think there is any chance of offering a darker normal skintone sometime in the future? I do not mean tanning skin... I mean a skintone that is similar in tone to Volks, or Domuya, or Soom?

      I think that Minimee 'normal skin' is still very pale, what most company call 'pinky-white', rather than actual normal skin.

    17. Ah, so here's what I'm curious about--if someone orders a 50&#37; likeness and someones else gets an 80% likeness of the same celeb--they still count as the same celeb right? Or don't they, since one doesn't quite have that dead-on likeness?

    18. Lachlana: I think people will start up disputes if celebs are sculpted like that.. At first Denny said he'd consider making a celebrity head with closed eyes even when there's the max already cast with open. But now he won't, and it makes sense to keep the rule black and white like that.

      Even if it's in 50&#37;, if the minimee looks like the intended celeb, people who were refused it before or want it will use that as a footing for complaining, or hassling Denny. "You said I couldn't have _____ as a minimee, but now you've sculpted it for this person? Why can't you just do another realistic one for me if you're doing that?" etc.. :(

      And vice versa, if the 10 sculpt maximum was filled with a 50% sculpt rather than 80%

    19. I'm pretty sure that in the beginning the second head that you were given was dreaming, so is it still possible to get a dreaming head along with your normal head order? I'm not fussed with whether it counts toward the limit of 10, just if it's possible and if there's an extra fee for it.
