Dim Minimee Update & Talk Part 1

For those wondering how the Minimee heads look on a Unireal body. It's not as severe in real life than how it looks in the pictures. The head is somewhat pink while the body is yellowish. It's barely noticeable in certain lights.

 

It also depends on in which resin batch the heads are in. My B.P. head on my unireal body is a real good match. And I ordered my unidoll later, the body is not yellow at all, it is more pink.

I had a quick question about future February orders - I remember seeing that you'd be having a delay because of the New Years celebrations - does that mean you'll stop taking orders that month, or just that any orders placed then will be delayed until you've caught up? I'm just trying to plan for when I need to get the $ and orders to you for my next minimee!

Wow, the Unidoll body looks great with the minimee head.
From what I've been seeing, most male minimee heads look a little out of proportion for their bodies. (which has made me think twice about getting a male companion for my female minimees)
How tall is the male unidoll body?
Anyway, your doll looks really good!

 

I'm just curious....does someone have a list somewhere of all the current 'celebrities' that have a head made after them? This would be really helpful, if there is going to be a 'limit' to the number of celeb dolls that can be made. I'm pretty sure the one i'd want is not taken yet, (David Draiman, lead singer of Disturbed) but i'd REALLY love to see the list so far!

Pardon if this has been asked before, but what is the usual wig size for MiniMee heads? I have 2 coming from the event and a group order and need to find wigs for them.

 

Let's see. Billie Joe's head is a 9-10 size, but Pete's head is smaller I'd say that is is an 8-9. I'm not 100% sure but I think the earlier Minimee have bigger heads, and the more current ones are smaller. Then again it might just differ between sculptors or even head to head.

 

Hey Rin! I used 8-9 inch wig. My Cloud is 8.5 inch. So I make a little adjustment on the wig to make it smaller then it should work

This additional 10 pcs sleeping/half closed head, does it have to be the previous minimee owner who are applicable to this new rule or a different person?
So this different person can order the same character but w sleeping/half closed eyes version? Thank you!

 

The Unireal body is 68 cm tall.

 

I'm wondering the same. Like making a half-closed eye version of a previous Gackt Minimee?

If it's a case of getting a dreaming head made from an existing sculpt, I think the original owner's permission will always be needed in this sort of situation..

Because there are so many of them out there already, heads like Gackt, Hyde, Miyavi, and pretty much all of Dir en grey won't be offered again, even as dreaming heads.

So as far as I can tell, original characters are celebrities that haven't been ordered multiple times (through individual and/or group orders) can be made as dreaming heads.
