Dim Minimee Update & Talk Part 1

Thanks guys! They look wonderful.

 

I was curious of anyone knows. Has Denny given up the idea of making a female Minimee body? I'm pulling my hair out trying to find a good match for my female minimee head.

 

I don't think he's given up yet. He said a while ago, he'd try later this year. He's probably just a little busy with the Minimee project and other DIM stuff. He's also working on the new project too. So, mabye give it some more time, or you could always get the body and head blushed to match. That's what I did with my Iplehouse model body and my Minimee head. The resin was a pretty good match to begin with. There's also a Minimee resin comparion thread.

I'm intrigued by the sound of this. Definitely want to know more information about it.

As someone who lives next to Toronto, I vote you come to Toronto. There is a rather large group of doll enthusiasts in Southern Ontario, especially in the GTA itself.

Especially if said beast has even a fraction of Vincent's personality. Who wouldn't want one?

Well I actually ordered during the very first batch, but mine arrived with the second batch so I guess it's considered an April head? It's big, if that's what you mean XDD

Soom doesn't sell the Super Gem body separately at the moment (but I do! Because as much as I love it I can't bring it with me overseas and I don't want it to sit in a box unused for like, 2 years), I did a split with someone~

Neck fit is awesome, but mind you this is a larger batch head, so I can't promise it'll be the same for newer ones ^^ Hope that helps!

 

Here's a question, Silvertongue- what body did you put your Hyde on?

Kuru, he's on a regular Minimee male body. I modified the lower torso a bit to make the six-pack and the side line..things.. a little softer. I'm going to switch him onto a modified senior delf body soon, though... the size, detail, and posing abilities are a tad better with those, I think. What body did you put your Hyde on?

 

Hehe, same! I really wish the perfect match body were more flexible, but all the other options are really tall (and expensive!) in comparison... I really like the feel of the minimee body but I do wish it had double-jointed elbows/knees. Having no joint around the waist means he looks better in low-rise pants, I suppose!

 

AHAHAHA! Long live the low-rise pants! The upper torso part is the only thing that outright aggravates me about his body. It has a tendency to snap back into super-arched position at every opportunity. : /

 

Haha yes, unless you twist it the top bit snaps back and throws the wig/headcap off across the room!

Bwahahahah!! Well, yes.... I suppose I do rather enjoy my doll being able to double as a deadly weapon.

 

I just want to reiterate for all those wanting girl bodies, that you can blush the heads to match other bodies( as usually the heads are lighter), and blushing works really well. I have two female Minimee heads ( from different batches), one on an Elfdoll body, and the other on a AoD body. Blushing the heads worked really well, and the heads now both match the bodies perfectly, and both the bodies are slightly different colour resins.

 

I've received the previews pictures today and I think he is amazing
