Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       ...I don't think that's possible, seeing as I had to make some changes. It would be lovely if it were true, but unless the sculptor sculpts at the speed of light, I doubt it could be modified and cast by Monday :sweat

      I haven't gotten a shipping notice either. So I think yours WILL be the very first! Congrats!

    8. Treelore: I'm tickled you like it. I'm over the moon with it ... we went for the 80% Reality sculpt. I figure there's going to be stuff that isn't an exact replication, so the result is also doll-like and in keeping with the ABJD aesthetic. I actually think the dissimilarities here don't really account for 20% of the whole!

      Loki: I showed Zach your comment and he was full of blushes and smiles. Of course I would say this as his mum, but I think he's pretty gorgeous inside and out. It's definitely one of the reasons I wanted to do this. Thank you!

      What is really cool about this project is a number of these sculpts look like dolls I'd be drawn to and want to buy. I can't wait to see them completed and fully accessorised!

      When the database is created, it would be great to ask those who are willing to include one of the original reference photos (if they can bear the disclosure), the sculpt before casting (these pics) and then the final head cast and made up.

    9. In Denny's FAQ on Minimees, he says eye size for SD-sized dolls is 16mm (give or take) and 14mm for minis.

    10. I think he said my mini takes 18mm, but she does have HUGE doll-style eyes.

      I need a wig size u.u Oh well, I'll be able to measure her soon enough.

    12. He also said it varies from mold to mold. I asked to see if it would be possible to take a picture with the reccommended size for my doll and the size smaller.

      I want to make sure I get the right size for her look (shes an adult, and she's a very intense woman), so I want to make sure she doesn't look doe-eyed.

    13. I think this is spot on! The sculpt does look like a more adult version of him.

      I teased him if he ever decided he wanted a nose job in future, he could use this as a model. ;) (this didn't actually play as mean as it sounds ... we both laughed)

    14. LOL I said to my husband that I could have one done like me now and use it for a face lift in 10 years! but I did warn him that dennys heads are 80&#37; realistic so I might end up a bit different. Hey it could be fun! ouch!

    15. New Minimee orders for April are now open at dimdoll.com. Make a note that orders for a celebrity likeness will cost an extra $50, and requesting changes after you receive pictures will also cost extra depending on how big the changes are.

    18. Reading you guys' posts and how excited you are is making me all giddy! This is so exciting!!

      I will defiantely be buying an SD sized one of myself. I want to be able to participate in my dolls daily lives: not as some giant omniscient voice, but as one of them. I think that would be really really awesome, and it would make the photostories more fun too! :D
