Dim Minimee Update & Talk Part 1

Great comparisons, gives me a better idea on the resin matches. Now I have to worry about finding a tall mature body that's fairly proportionate to my (minimee) head. I so don't want a hound body if I can help it.

 

If they work for Armeleia, how about a Senior Delf? Or DOT? That seems like a fairly good match.

 

Did anyone order a MSD head? and have it arrive? I would love to see the MSD size head on a body. I have a plan for a young head how long did Denny say the MSD sized body would take before we see it? did he give a time frame? I am hoping for a young body MSD (no boobs or very small ones).

I guess I don't need to worry about the head being too small. I would like a size 8 wig head approx.

 

I'll definitely keep an eye on the Senior Delf, the DoT body is out tho. I want muscles for my guy. Hehe.

 

My heads came in yesterday. I've ordered one with and the other without face-
up.

My Latidoll Red boy lent him his body until I find him an own body. Or Denny's
bodies are completed.
I have also tried the head on SD13 and CH AI. But I couldn't manage to keep
the head in place, because the rings and s-hooks slipped trough the gigantic
hole.

 

ARG. I am THISCLOSE to just hitting that order button. >_>

I will think on this for awhile. I'm supposed to be saving money, not spending it. >_>

Hmmm...seems like the heads are kind of on the large side now. What size wigs do they take? I hope the heads can work with Senior Delf bodies at least. The resin seems like it's not far off. Before they changed the head size I think the MiniMee would have been perfect for the LatiDoll Red body, but now I'm not so sure. I think it might be too big for it now. But I need to see more shots without clothes on the torso before I make any final judgments on that.

 

Can you ask to get your MiniMe head made in a size that would fit an average 60cm SD body?

I think this project is awesome, it's really interesting to see everybodys dolls!

 

i would hope so, but probably not.

 

When I ordered, I asked if the head could be made at a certain size, Denny said no. That could change in the future tho.

 

Mine's an MSD size head (it was the only size offered at the time o_o) and its closer to Unoa size. I remember opening the package and being surprised at how tiny they were. It looks fine on the DIM Happy body, though. With the more realistic sculpt, being better in proportion is a plus at least IMO.

Denny did say that the next round would be bigger, though, so I can't say how big the current MSD size heads are.

 

I do hope that Denny and co. will produce the Minimee bodies soon. I'm really excited to see what they will do. And $250 is a very reasonable price for a body!

I'm torn between seeking a body for my head now, or waiting until the Minimee bods come out.

I suppose what I'm saying is that, whatever size the Minimee heads turn out, the bodies should be a suitable match...

 

Here are pics without clothes. Did they really change the head size?
Mine is from the first order period and it's big enough.

All my "big" wigs fit very well, so 9" to 9,5" would be o.k.

 

Would you be able to ask for the head to be made with a circumference of for example 25 cm or so - to make sure the head wouldn't look too big next to rest of ones doll family?

Alas, Denny said they did change the head sizes. But your head definitely seems big enough. Can't imagine them being even bigger than that. Wonder if we can ask for a head to fit 8-9 size wigs...

 

I hope he didn't make them TOO big...
