Dim Minimee Update & Talk Part 1

does anyone know how long this ordering period will last????

 

The April one lasted till the end of May, so I imagine you've got a few weeks left, at least.

I know I'm really late to the party with this comment, but luckymirai, those Bowie heads look AMAZING...just saw the Aladdin Sane head...crazy!! in a good way!

 

Humbug, that sculpt of your comic book character came out fantastic.
I wouldn't dream of asking if you were going to sell the extra head (especially since someone else already beat me to it but if you ever decide to let other people order extra heads of the one you already had done (maybe with a design commission paid to you), please let me know! Because that is one swell-designed head.

Which does raise an interesting point for the Celeb Minimees. Since a lot of these are of pretty popular people (Bowie, Angelina Jolie, etc.) I'm wondering if someone gets one done and then someone else a few months down the road wants the same person, what happens? Do they have to get a whole new sculpt of the celebrity looking different? It would seem you would have to, because you wouldn't want to steal the idea of the first person who ordered, but I was just wondering how it would be handled, because if enough people order some duplication of celebrities is bound to occur at some point.

lol if i go with this minimee thing, and get TWO heads for that price, which is great don't get me wrong, but what am I supposed to do with a second Cocoa???? one Malkavian is bad enough... lol

 

...It'd be really cool to get a character intended to be a twin - then you'd have both heads. XDDDD

Anyway...someday, I would LOVE to order a Jonathan Crane MiniMee. 333 I love him so much, and these are just...awesome.

But Jonathan would be great. I could faceup one head to look all calm, and the other to look all shifty like Scarecrow.....

 

I've entertained thoughts of designing an androgynous head and putting one cast on a male body and one on a female one. I think the different face-ups this would beg would be an interesting way to investigate the nuances of the very sensitively done sculpts minimee heads always seem to have.
