Dim Minimee Update & Talk Part 1

I wouldn't mind if the heads came even a little smaller than that. I'd love to use the Iplehouse slender body for mine and that's narrower in the shoulders.

Actually, I think Loki's Pi was from the original February batch. They were small, and then the last batch to arrive (April) were a lot bigger. Supposedly, the next orders will be smaller again.

 

i guess that was a "whoops" on their end. oh well. not like it matters that much. I'd like my heads to feel comfortably next to a Delf Soony. so we'll see whenever I actually come up with the money to buy dolls again... lol

Sorry for the late reply, been out of the house all day and stuff. Anyway...

Yes, Pi is on the new Iplehouse muscle body. It is a very good match in all manners. The skinton of the Iplehouse is slightly more yellow, since the Minimee heads are a little pinkish, but they're both very pale in colour and in most lights match very nicely. The neck & neckhole slot in well together, and over all he's very well proportioned.

Pi was one of the original MiniMee heads that came through in the first batch. I'm not sure of relative sizing, but he's definately on the small side. I'd had him previously on an SD13 body temporarily, and he looked a little bit small on it, though not too bad.

Overall, I'm very pleased with how everything's worked out. ^_^ I'm glad you guys like him!

 

It's so weird that my MiniMee head's pretty big, because mine was from the first batch...

 

ok, now i'm starting to get concerned and i'm wondering what to expect. is it possible we could get and compare the measurements from all the batches???

 

Wow wow wow! A whole new avenue of doll collecting dolls has just opened up for me. I can have dolls of the people I love! I am very excited and have already placed my first order. Thank you Denny.

 

Will you sell heads of sculpts you've already done, like Angelina Jolie? I saw her sculpt and it is so beautiful and I really really want one! :-)

Can the mini size minimee head fit on a Unoa or Mini Fee body? Can I request it to be sized for one of those bodys?

Denny, this is amazing! This is going to stick around, right? It's not going to go away before I can save up the money? I can't wait to see the body! Was it really the 60cm that you priced before? Because that is an amazing price! I'm debating whether I want to trash all of my original first doll plans and make a Minimee my first instead... I'm afraid that if I get a Minimee that all other dolls will suddenly pale in comparison! ^_^ Maybe I'll just draw up all my doll ideas and just make my entire collection my own one-of-a-kind Minimees!

Oh, how do you order 2 face-ups? Also, can each face-up be different? I'm thinking I'd like mirror image face ups with one being of an 'ivy green' sorts and the other being an 'autumn red' shade... could I do that? Also, do you pierce ears as well? Will body blushing/tattoos be availabe for the bodies?

Seriously, though... I think it's amazing that you're on here, Denny. You're so nice and it's a pleasure reading everything that you write. It's hard to believe that someone as cool as you is really behind all this! That just makes it doubly amazing!

 

I still haven't posted my elfboy, I haven't finished his faceup But my head is on the larger size (part of the April order), so I'm not sure what body he will fit on. I'de like an SD-17 or 16 body, but I might put him on a DZ body until the next boy comes out and I can purchase a volks body for him. His head definately looks like it needs to be on a larger body.

Just adding my comment to show there's even more interest--I'm definitely planning for a minimee in the not-too-distant future A certain jrocker I've been longing to have XD Just need to save for him ^___^
