Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.       This is the new minimee body color compared with the previous minimee color(Minimee head left)
      As you see, they are almost similar but the minimee body is a slightly deeper.

      I know I said I was going to wait until after seeing the resin before I ordered my Minimee, but I obviously did not wait that long, but I'm very glad to see the color!

      Now I need to start figuring out what body will work. Humm... not many bodies around that have the "look" I need. This might be tricky. :sweat

      I can say..it's more like creamish.

      I cannot say exactly as all minimees are custom works.
      It's fit with DIM body and it is about the DIM head size or a little bit bigger.
      It depends on individual minimee.

    11. I asked for mine to be in the 8-9 size range, because I know there can be some variance because it is custom work, but I did not want it any smaller then 8, or larger then 9.

    13. It's been up in the air since the beginning. Denny started offering them as an experiment. It takes alot of time and effort to make them, and I'm sure it takes alot/some of Denny's Sculpters away from other things. Honestly, no one really knows. The DIM site says:

      Q] Do you think I can order later this year? Will you be doing the project ?
      A] Honestly, I don't know. Because of the modification and too high expectation, this really pressures on the sculptors. So this project can be stopped at any time.

    14. I have a question-- say two people order the same celebrity head in two unrelated separate orders--supplying totally different reference pictures (for instance, super pretty pictures as opposed to candid pix, or older pix compared to younger ones etc--point being there's a bit of a discrepancy, but it's still the same person). Do they actually sculpt two totally different heads? Or use the same mold since it's the same celebrity?

      Also--in these new orders going on (since there seems to be a bunch of group orders atm) are the heads still of the larger variety? Or has there been some success in shrinking them down to more standard BJD size for body compatibility? (Sorry if this was addressed earlier--I'm having a panic about joining a group order rather than ordering the minimee I've been planning . . . :/)

    15. Lachlana: I believe the heads are smaller now, to match the DIM boy bodies, which are being offered as minimee bodies right now. I don't know if it still varies between the batches that are on the go, though.

      And as for the celebrity head question, I'm pretty sure they'd sculpt different heads. After all, these are meant to be 2-of-a-kind releases, so they'd have to ask the customers' permission to send out 4 of the same head. Also, the photos would have a lot of do with it. I'm pretty sure if someone else ordered the head I have, they'd get a different doll, simply because I've asked mine to have an open mouth and certain expression, and most photos of that celeb don't look that way :3

      And more, as Kazzii mentioned, a customer has his/her own request about minimee so that makes something different.

      Oracle12 : Thank you for explanation ^^ yes, we are not sure how long we can do this service.
      I hope to keep this minimee service longer.

      Sterling : Sorry that I am not helping that much. we don't take custom sized head even though the head size is about DIM head size.
      we can't offer the exact size as every time the minimee can be a little bit different on its size.
      But after we've had some experiences, not too big or not too small. I can guarantee on this.

    18. Ohh, I do understand Denny! Thats why I did not give a specific size I wanted, rather something in the 8-9 size. Hopefully that is ok. I know with work like what you are doing with this project, each and every head will be different, which is what makes them so special!

    20. Is anyone else as ridiculously excited about ordering their Minime as I am? I'm already planning my second one! She will be a celebrity minimee though, unlike the one I just ordered. I hope this project is around for quite some time!
