Since my Minimee Se7en is MSD sized his eyes are REALLY small... the eyes that he is wearing in the pictures are 12mm and MUCH too big. I'm waiting for some 8mm now and I think that'll be the right size.

Does anyone know if a Sd sized minimee will fit on a dollshe boy body?!? I'm really thinking about getting one but I'm not fan of the DIM bodies.

 

Yes the head fits on a Dollshe body, and I´m glad they do, because I bought a Dollshe & Senior Delf body ^_^
There are some Minimee/body shots in the BJD-opedia section.

 

I thought only the larger april heads fit on the dollshe body. The newer ones are made for more SD 60-65cm size. Aren't the Dollshe bodies more like 70cm?

 

how are you buying just a senior delf body??? o.O or is that Abandon that you're getting and then selling the head? *scratches head lost* and the resin matches luts and dollshe ok?

 

Yeah I bought an Abadon, and I think I´ll sell the head, but I´ll know for sure when I have him ^_^
The resin between MNM/Dollshe and MNM/SDF matches pretty well, just some undertones that are different, and with LUTS you'll never know what colour you'll get that month XD

 

Well 70cm or not the Saint, Bernard and Van heads are also 7,5 inch so that's MSD size >_>...

Since I was so pleased wiht my other heads, i'm thinking of ordering another minimee soemtime soon. This time, I will probably sell the other head, so if nayone thinks they might be intrested, please pm me.

I think the old MNM resin generally matched Snr Delf well, but the new resin is very pink from what I've seen, if it is indeed matching with the new DIM resin (I'm confused over if it does or not, as the picture Denny posted indicates not much difference, but he's also said the new resin was meant to match the DIM body...?). If it IS the same tone, it won't match the Snr Delf very well.


And as for the eye size thing, I've got my Pi in 16mms, tho 14mm works really nicely too.

 

It'd be great if my hide Minimee head would fit and look nicely on a 70cm body! I want so much for him to be about the same height as my Yoshiki!! ^_^;;;;;
Sabriell -- would you be able to take pictures for me when you receive one of your heads? I would like to see a Minimee head on a dollshe body!

 

Initially, Denny said that the new MiniMee resin tone would match the DIM resin. However, it seems plans have changed and it's still mostly the same tone as the previous MiniMee, just a little bit darker. It matches the new DIM Memory line, which doesn't match any of the other previous DIM lines. So no, it shouldn't be pinky

Maybe this has been asked before, but what size of wigs fits on a SD-minimee? Does the usual 8/9 work or do they need something bigger or smaller?

 

That's a very good question - about the wigs. I have no idea.

 

My large april head can fit (tightly) into a regular 8-9 so I assume this would be the proper size for a normal SD sized Minimee head too.
8-9 works great on my Achernar.
