Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I think $600 for two custom heads is really cheap! I think if you charge such a fair amount, you will easily have 30 customers!

      If you think of an example, people wait about 50 days or more for Unoa, and pay a similar price, so I think people will be happy to wait and pay for minime which is more special ^-^

      I've read your thread for the first time today. You are doing fantastic work.

      Your price is extremely reasonable for custom work. I think people would understand this more fully if they were aware of all of the steps and expense that go into creating and then manufacturing an item. Most people do not understand. I am seriously considering your order period at the end of the month. I very much like the idea of having a minimee of my daughter and/or stepdaughters. After all, children are only small once, right? Your minimee gives parents an option to have a very special remembrance.

      Do you believe that your resin color will work with the Volks MSD body skintone?

      Will there be a difference in price for heads for 60 cm dolls?

      I'm sure that a dollmaker can feel very unappreciated at times. Understand that we admire what you are doing. Very few of us could do anything like this!

      Thank you so....so..much for your comments.
      (the sample is not yet out so...we will see the result at the end of Jan)
      I started this with action figure Minimee and I felt how people liked this event.
      I only had 10 limited orders at that time, but I got more than 30 numbers applied. (But I only got the 10 numbers)
      I was so happy that people loved it and mostly they wanted to have their family.
      For BJD Minimee.
      I am not very sure recent skin color of VOLKS,
      But yes, not 100% but almost. I will work it out.

      Re : SD & MSD
      No price difference.

      This project is only limited and I believe this would be such a work.
      for more satisfaction, in the middle of each Minimee, I will check the sculpt with each customers for any modification.

    6. I think is will be a wonderful idea to have a minimee made. I'd definately like to have one of myself. It's such a cool idea. But i think it is definately berry hard work to have a scult made specially made for each order. Also the price is berry important. Maybe the clothings & shoes are not so important. But the wig is important styled to be like the person's hairstyle & with face-up is will be realistic! :)

    11. One thing I and many have been looking for is MSD modern hand guns like you see in animes like Gunslinger if you could make one that will fit in a volks MSD gun hand I know I would buy it!

      Of course if you don't like guns, making things for volks msd gun hands I understand. But its been a LONG serch for me for a gun and I know others have been asking for MSD sized modern guns too!

      I might be willing to mail you my volks gun hands to work with as a guide if it would help you.

    13. I have gotten a couple more pics via email so its still moving along.

      I'm sure Denny will post pics when he's ready.

      I do know that they're now cast in resin and the open-eyed one is awaiting facuep :) and that I need a bunny hat XD

      Also they should be done in about two weeks. The full project will kick off sometime after that.

    15. It has been quicker than expected :) Denny had originally said the end of Feb. but she's almost done already! Its been about a month so far, but still less time than I thought it would take.

      The sculptor is obviously very, very talented to be able to recreate a human face in so much detail and so quickly! I hope the photographer I've hired and I can do thier hard work justice when we do the photoshoot.

      Here is my opinion so far about the sample.
      Yes..they are done ! open eyes version is being prepared for face up but it takes long...You know..make up is normally behind work. (sad..)
      Our new make artist has lots of works to do at the moment. so it will be taken about two weeks.

      This project is from other factory(New one) of D.I.M
      so the resin color is a littme different from D.I.M original color. but..similar.
      (however, the touch and the color is a little different)
      if you are wondering about this factory, we started making action figures and also doing business character for companies.
      From 2007, D.I.M is running 3 factories for production.
      Factory A : D.I.M dolls
      Factory B(New) : Minimee
      Factory C(New) : D.I.M happy boy line from 2007

      This sample need to be improved more in this point.
      * headcap match : it's about 95% match. I will improve it to 99% match
      And the headcap shape will be modified too.

      * Neck hole : need to be widen.
      Tiffany, Please note that the neck hole is smaller than I designed, so when you assemble the head into body, please use smaller S-Hook, if you have D.I.M Happy girl body, the S-Hook does not go into the neck hole.
      What should you do ? Take off the S-Hook and use smaller one or Hook the S-Hook from the head through the neck hole.

      * neck hole will be modifed

      Besides them, the sample worked out fine. it's BJD styled image of Tiffany.
      And..I think...they are beautiful !

      This head can wear Volk wig and normal MSD sized wig.

      I will take limited orders after finishing this sample.
      there will be one chance for modification on your Minimee.
      I will show you your minimee photo and you will be able to check yours and if you need anything , then it will be done.

      but I am afraid that I will not take any orders for Movie Stars.
      Because I don't want to make any trouble with Movie stars(Smile)

    17. My another Idea about accessory.

      I see there are so many wishes of Accessories.
      I can make accessories of your desired one if I have photo or picture.
      But making only one is expensive work, so to lower the price, perhaps somebody suggest group order and then I can work it out what price can it be. and if both agree, this will be worked out.

      so let me know anyone interested in.

      The sample doll looks wonderful -- I can't wait to see a picture of Tiffany and mini-Tiffany next to each other!

      $600 is a very fair price, definitely a lot less than what I'd expected. Sadly, I won't be able to order one in the next couple of months, but I'm sure you'll find 30 people easily! ;)
