1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Dioramas and dollhouses???

Jan 8, 2006

    1. I had a little room for my Cutie delf girl on a shelf. Other than that, I don't have rooms persay, but I do have doll furniture sitting on various flat surfaces. Mostly the take over the love seat--yes, they have their own piece of human furniture (though it's not very comfy, lol).

    2. I would if I had the space, time and money. Nanali lives mostly sitting in her carrying case or I tend to place her on the bed before I got out for the day. ^^;

    3. I wish I had more room, but they live on my dresser, chairs, and desk ^_^; My mom gave me one of her doll-sized chairs for my dresser, and it's lovely when the boys sit on it. If I ever have space, I'll get them more furniture.

    4. My dolls dont have their own space.(Poor things) So usually they lounge about on the sofa,or the bed,or the armchair... or where I fancy puuting them.Never on a shelf.Only the floating heads spend their time sitting on the shelf and looking around. :)

    5. When i was little my dad built a table for my grandma. Since we still have it and it was just sitting in the spare bedroom ive moved it into my room next to my computer table and ive dedicated that as my dolls space. His bed will go there when it gets here and i have a glitter lava lamp thingy and some other stuff. And it fits quite nicely. x3

    6. my apt is not very large and i have loads of stuff (along with my fiance who lives here too) so they live on our dinning table. we don't use it anyway so its tucked in a corner and i have lots of furniture for them ^^ find lots a thrift stores and such. i'm hoping that i'll have a house soon so they can have some more space to spread :)

    7. The only spot of his own that Kaito has atm is his bed (which is just the box he came in with the pillows as a mattress) but he doesn't really like being separated from me...plus I'm in the middle of moving a whole heap of furniture in and out of my room so I don't have much space for him to be able to call his own. But once all the moving is done I'll be working on a 'room' of sorts for him (mainly somewhere I can store all of his damn clothes! lol) plus making a kind of frame work for his box/bed to sit in (I don't have any extra room to store his box so using it as his bed is a much better use of the space) so that it looks more like a bed - plus I'll most likely be turning it into a bunk bed in the future when my little neko-jiin gets here.

    8. When I bought Lun'Mara I went wild and made him a living place, a bed, dresser, and a wicker chair...Hobby stores got to love them:) Then I bought a white love seat from Dollmore and am planning on buying a bed from Iple House with Windra with me now. Hey, my guest bedroom has become a reading/alter/doll room...I'm just a little obsessed to them.*_*

    9. *****n/a*****

    10. My bedroom is a very odd shape as it's built into the attic, and the house is on a very steep hill. So my guy has claimed the corner that is too low for normal use, but is the perfect height for him. Its ideal as the sun never gets to that corner. So far he's got a fainting couch, rug, floor cushions and a smallish dresser I found in TX Maxx. He also has a chair in the lounge next to the sofa so he can watch TV with me.

    11. I cleared off a shelf of a storage self thing I have in my room cause I wanted Rhiannon out of harms way. The unit is made by rubbermaid and the shelves are about two feet deep, maybe a little deeper. It's too small height wise for Rhiannon, but it'll be her spot until I can do something a little nicer for her in my room. I live in a small apartment with my mom and sis, and while I got my own room it's not quite big enough (we moved from a large apartment to a couple of smaller ones in recent years and I want to keep my furniture so when I get around to moving out I have some stuff to put in my place). Plus finding a spot that my cat can't get to is hard cause the silly little thing gets into EVERYTHING in my room.:|

    12. Most of my dolls live in little settings with furniture, props & accessories. I have a huge cabinet in the living room & most of them are in there. Those have the most complete rooms. Then several are on a couple of shelves & some just lounge in their couches & chairs on the floor in front of the cabinet.

      I wish I had higher, deeper spaces for them since to fit them in they're all displayed sitting or lounging. I'd like to be able to stand some up & layer the furniture rather than having it be in such straight lines. Still they look rather interesting with their pets & drinks & trinkets & such. And I do have them posed interacting with each other.

    13. I have one on my shelf/closet. It's big enough for me to have made it a living room.

      The thing is though, them spend most of their time anywhere else, BUT their room. Go figure. :|

      The only thing, though, that's actually up to 1/3 scale is the couch and the table. Everything else is more made for 1/4. Though I want to have more room for them, I'll have to wait till I get out of college, curse those small dorm rooms!

    14. My girl sits in a in-scale rocking chair on my bookshelf in my room.
      However, I plan on making an awesome in-scale entire room for my eventual small group of girls. I have some patterns made and plans for beds/drapery/etc. and need to get myself in gear and make them. ^_^;

    15. Fay took over a corner of my room with her and her stuffed animal collection. >-> And now she has two wicker chairs of her own. ^^

    16. I would love to have more room to make a "doll room" or "doll corner" for my gang.. until then they just live in either their boxes or the 1 chair I have that is doll-sized :( My room also tend to get dusty and I don't want my dolls covered in dust so they live in my wardrobe.

    17. I hope I can make a doll corner or doll room in the future... once I have a house of my own first.

    18. lol Rae? he has a little section of my art desk to himself. But i'm not moving stuff around for him yet tho.

      I'm moving in about 3 weeks so i'm still at the stage of planning my room. I however is going to leave a section of the spare bedroom or my bedroom to be the chill out corner for my boys ^^ (need bigger space for large dolls)

      If i move out next year to Uni (i was going to this year but not enough time or money) then i'll definately leave a area for them, most likely part of my desk, floor and a section of the book shelf!

    20. Right now my doll only has a shelf on my bookcase which is ridiculously small. I have a big empty 3.58 feet by 2.88 feet corner in my room. I'm planning to make that my doll corner. I think I'll have combination of a dresser/table/desk in that corner. I just haven't found anything yet but I need to!
