Discussion of Real Unidoll (UHr-01)

I mean Jace..............I always come close with names but off a little.

 

I took another look at Jace's pictures and he definately has a far away look but the question is will he focus in on me?

 

Figuratively speaking, that's sort of objective--bonding is basically an individual experience. Realistically, you just have to catch him at the right angle to look him dead in the eyes *lol* I think Jace has a solemn maturaity beyond his years--at least my Jace will, like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders. Personally, I can't wait to meet him

 

I really love this sculpt, the tortured soul look to his face, his body sculpt. I do think I can connect with him, but since he would be for my Roda, well, it's more a matter of them doing well together.

My daughter blithely commented that yes, he's very nice but he has huge ears! I never really noticed that before--are they really that huge? Now I'm looking at him again and his ears are rather large. Are they too large? A detraction? I don't know. He will be wearing a wig. *sigh* Now I'm worrying about his darn ears being too big.

 

I noticed his big ears everytime I look at him. But, he's a perfect match for the character I have waiting for him, right down to those ears! Hopefully I'll have monies for him in the future (but right now, it's camera upgrade time ).

 

Definitely the biggest ears on a BJD that I've seen! :>) Even larger than Bermann's! It takes the right wig to cover those ears! But oh my, the rest of him..............

 

I'm getting him blank too, but through the six month lay away plan, so it will be a while.
But I fully intend to spam the heck out of him, just like I do my Ichigo!

Whew! I am so glad I wasn't the only one who thought his ears looked huge. Considering how "perfect" my other sculpts are, it is kind of refreshing that he isn't so perfect. He has that quirky good looks thing going on. I can't wait to see him in person.

 

I LOVE his ears! I love the fact that he is not perfect, it makes him even more appeaing to me!

 

I totally agree with you. Thats one of the main reasons I bought him actually. Not only did he just, capture my heart, but he is the embodiment of man. The muscles, vains in the arms, larger ears... it all makes him look more lifelike ^^;

 

I never noticed his ears until you guys mentioned them. Wow, they are pretty big~ :3 Oh well, I still adore him. XD I'm waiting for a possible elf release though so his ears will be different? x3

 

I like that he has big ears (though I'm obsessed with his gorgeous NOSE!) - my Tiffee has huge ears and they're very cute, and it's nice to be able to tuck a lock of hair behind her ear and have it stay there!

 

I suppose if we hadn't noticed the ears before it's because the rest of him is just so gorgeous, it really doesn't matter too much. I would really love to have this guy and am considering the layaway thing. In the meantime I can look forward to all of the owner pics and different faceups.

I'm head over heels in love with his cheeck bones and the shadows they make - his nose is great too! He's one of those dolls that made my mouth drop when I first saw pictures of him so I'm really considering getting him!

 

oh wow, im glad people brought up his ears. i'm obsessed with him and after staring at him for what most have been like 20 mins i noticed them, but wasn't going to say anything. the man is incredibly hot but the ears are way too big for his face. i might just wait for the elf one if its actually released. that or have him modded since i MUST have him. i seriously cannot wait for owner pics. congrats to all who ordered him.

 

I noticed the big ears, too, and, they made me hesitate, but, in the end didn't deter me. He is one of the most interesting sculpts that I have seen. He reminds me of my St. Mina, but in a very male sort of way, and I have never regretted buying her.

 

What big ears you have Jace!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't notice either but now that I see them they must be covered with a long wig.

Why would the artist do that?

I am totally bemused at all this fuss over ears! I mean...ears, of all things! Love Jace, love his ears. ^-^ They're part of him.
