1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Do you collect furniture/props or room settings for your dolls??

Oct 15, 2008

    1. I have a furnished house I put together for my little 1/12s! I found the dollhouse itself on Mercari—someone had already altered it with nicer floors/walls/windows etc than the original model, so I snagged it and have been collecting tiny furniture for it over the last year! I love the design; it has stairs going up to a little loft area, then more stairs going up to the flat roof (still gotta put together the roof garden area).

I'd love to make dioramas for my 1/6 and 1/4 boys, mostly for photography. But it seems like a waaay more ambitious project, so I haven't jumped in on that yet ahaha. Plus, furniture for those sizes is quite a bit pricier than 1/12 pieces, and I'm still trying to bulk up my boys' wardrobes before getting into props and whatnot (':

    2. I don’t have any dioramas yet, im still debating whether to build my own or buy one, but I have a huge collection of miniatures I love to pose and play with my 1/6 and 1/12 scale dolls! My favorites to pose with are Rements and Mini Brands :3nodding:

    3. I have one sofa an 2 chairs, and som plant. but not I lot, and no diorama. I'm still learning to take photos of my dolls. maybe in the future, if I get better and can see them being used. :)

    4. I’ve got four Billy bookcases from IKEA that house my and my partner’s dolls. Two of them are full of my minis and each shelf is a “room.” I’ve got a basement room with wooden stairs, a living room with a large chair/small loveseat and a rocking chair, a music room with a sofa, music stand, and cabinet, a hobby room with a table, a curio cabinet, and a dresser, and I just set up a dorm room with a loft bed and desk this week. Dang that was a lot of commas. There’s one more shelf that needs to be decorated that just has some unfinished dolls on stands for right now. I’d love to turn that one into a crafting room but the furniture I want for it is hella expensive.

    5. Currently I have a throne that I made and a chair and a bench from Michaels. Looking forward to what else Michaels brings out throughout the year, as their stuff seems to be perfectly sized for 1/4 scale.
