1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Do you feel that ABJDs matures a person?

Jul 13, 2010

    1. This might sound odd, but I think that it has helped me. I am one of those people that has to take care of something, and the fact that I have a little doll to clean and take care of helps. I am newly married and we are waiting to have kids, so I still have something to take care of. One that doesn't whine and knead my stomach with his sharp little claws (My kitten Kaiba.) I know that there are some owners that are immature but I have found a lot of times that doll owners are a lot more careful with other people's things. When my friend Shisako handles my doll, she is quite more gentle with Madison than say my cousin. Who almost broke her because he thought it would be fun to stand her in the middle of a placemat and spin it. Thank goodness I had my hand up just incase to catch her.

    2. It might teach you how to save money, and manage goals. I don't think it's made me any more mature, even though I'm older than you.

    3. It really depends on the person. Sometimes it matures a person, other times. . . they could regress.

I think it is just one of those things that you have to be careful about.

    4. Nothing matures a person if they don't learn from their experiences.
Adversely anything can, if the person does.
This has very little to do with dolls, IMO.

    5. Nope, in fact by far the opposite.
It's like saying shopping matures someone.
