Do you have a really long wish-list?

No, but that's because I've already shelled most of the OCs I care to. I've just got a couple secondary characters left after my current orders arrive.
Though that doesn't necessarily mean I'll be done buying dolls once I have those...

 

I can across this article and I was like yes yes I do have a long wishlist... so I decided to count... I have my top 28 here on DoA but I have 17 more not on here.

 

I used to but I only have about 8 now

 

At one point I went through the list of BJD companies here on DOA and wrote down every doll I liked. Then over the course of a few days narrowed it down to around 40-50. That was pretty crazy.

 

I used to have none now I think I have three that I really wish for.

 

I have such a long wish list... But They have specific categories! I have doll wishes and doll-stuff wishes!
And my wishes all have different grades, like how bad I want them.
Right now my grade SSS no.1 wish is rumored to be re-released and I have no money at all... *dies*

 

My list just keeps getting longer hahaha- I'm mostly wishing for a body for my luts head though!

 

No, and I never have even though I've owned a lot of different dolls over the years. I think I just get hyperfocused on the next one, maybe two dolls that I'm planning on putting together and my brain can't handle a long list of them at a time.

 

I have about 15 dolls on my wishlist but I tend to split them into two different lists. One consists of the dolls that I've decided to make a priority to purchase, and the other is the "maybe" list. I never thought I'd see the day, but I've managed to get every doll on my "priority" list that exists (I'm waiting for Fairyland to make a couple sculpts in a different size) and have started moving around the "maybe" list. XD

 

Nope, it averages out to 2 for me. Though I'd probably not have anymore to add to it once I get the last 2 doll I have planned for... (hopefully!)

 

Nope. I have a fairly short list, and of that list I'm only reeeeally focused on about 2 or 3. Like others have said, I guess I'm kind of about keeping it realistic. It seems more likely that I'll be able to have them (and afford them!) if I only focus on 2 or 3.

 

I used to have it, and sometimes one of my "forgotten dreams" come back to haunt me and tell me: <<We are beautiful dolls and we could fit your story, why won't you buy us?>> xD
But a long time ago I realized I wanted to have a small doll family so everyone can get the proper attention.

So now my wishlist is composed by 2 dolls. The first will come home surely next year. The other one, well... only god knows when xD

 

I have a fairly small wish list ;m; I have like 2/3 dolls on my wish list (In my head wishlist)

but I do have a ton of clothes/wigs and stuff I wish to have those take up most of my wishlist I think

 

I really don't anymore...

I still want a MNF Shushu when/if Fairyland makes that sculpt available again (Supposedly some time this fall, but with them you never know how truthful an estimate is. <_<) for Ryuko, the last member of the Turtle House crew who needed to be redone.

I plan on ordering a pair of dolls from Spirit Doll (An Olea and an Ulmas) sometime in the next couple of months. (I would have ordered them already if a certain set of SHeliot twins hadn't come up when they did. *shakes tiny fist at Soom* )

... and, after ages of waffling, I think I've finally settled on which Volks sculpt I want for the fifth and final of my full circle of Sidereals; the Chosen of Mars. I wanted her to be absolutely NOT what you'd expect someone from the House of Battles to look like. I think she'd going to be a Saki.

Those are all I have on my list at the moment. There are other dolls I'd definitely buy if they came up... an SDGr Okita, for instance, or a Vampire Elf Chiwoo to replace the one that I gave to my god-daughter... But those are more opportunistic targets than sculpts I have solid plans to add to the collection.

 

I only have a short list, it's two more 1/3 sculpts, a female elf and a male human. Currently researching though I do like Hun Dong and Qi.

 

Oh yes...My folder has about 65 links...though some of them are for the same doll on different sites so there's probably about 55 or so xD
If I shelled every OC I have, I'd own over 200 dolls lmao

 

Ummmm.... *quietens voice* I have 7 dolls on my 'main' wishlist that I definitely want to get someday, though my whole wishlist has stretched to about 19 dolls (including my grail) and I don't even own a bjd yet........

*rolls away in shame*.

 

I don't even own my first BJD yet because I have been needing to put my money into other places (my service dog's training is expensive). But my wishlist fluctuates. Usually I just fall in love with a doll and obsess over that one doll for a while, and then move onto another. It'll be interesting to see which doll my wheel of uncertainty lands on once I can finally afford my first, haha!

 

I have about 17 for my list. a good 4 of them are just character dolls. its funny how in the beginning of the year nothing really caught my attention and now its the end of the year and lots of dolls are taking my heart.

 

Mine's gotten quite a bit shorter over the past couple of years... but only because my collection's gotten larger. No one's come off the list for a reason other than being purchased. My dolls are predominantly shelling characters, and the casts aren't getting smaller (though occasionally they get bigger), so a doll being added to the wishlist means either I've found a character to suit it, or I like the look and am trying to decide if it fits into the collection somehow.

At the moment, I have 15 dolls on my list, though at least one doesn't actually quite exist currently (I can still hope!), and currently only one is in the "sculpt I like, how do I make it fit" category.
