1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Do you have a really long wish-list?

Nov 17, 2010

    1. Nope! My wishlist consists of two dolls. I don't really see that part of it growing. But the wishlist of clothes/eyes/wigs etc. that I will want to buy them? It's slllloooowwwllly getting bigger and bigger.

    2. My wish list isn't huge, it consists mostly of parts (wigs, eyes, accessories, jointed hands, hooves) but there's only 3 or 4 full dolls I have left that I want. I used to have a gigantic wish list, until I fell out of love with a lot of them

    3. Hmm i'm not sure if you can really call my wish list that long ...well currently on my profile wish list I only have 13 dolls although I do have 3 or 4 others I've been meaning to place there. There's also the whole thing that company's keep dishing out new sculpts so it may change and/or grow as time goes on..so for now I don't personlly call it long just that it has potential to grow longer...

    4. Oh hell yes!

I remember in the early doll days, thinking, "Wow, I'd love to make it to ten dolls one day...wonder if I'll ever make it...."

Seven years on, my family is considerably larger than I even imagined, and still, my Want List continues. And it is large. :doh

    5. Mine's at about 35 right now, but that could change. I need a separate list for eyes and wigs now too...

    6. I only have 3 on my wishlist now :) but it was 2 yesterday so it will probably be very long again soon...

    7. I currently have 22 on my wishlist...So yeah, it's fairly large. I'm not sure how many of them I will own or if I will remove any; There's also some I have not listed yet lol. It just keeps growing!

    8. I have 6 (plus a 7th, unspecified one - looking for a mold for the guy) dolls on my wishlist. Which is way too much for me, actually.

    9. Just two, maybe three dolls. It took me a year to buy just the one so I'm hoping they don't get discontinued any time soon.

    10. I have um... about 15 dolls on my wishlist haha....................but some of them have much lower priority so I might still change my mind or fall out of love with them.
Either way I'm not planning on getting all of them, more like... get them one by one and then see who else I need or don't need!

    11. Defenitely not, I only have one or two dolls on my wishlist, and a handful of parts/accessories.

    12. My wishlist is about 30 dolls but I will never acquire them all. I'm at 6 and I want to lose a few before getting more!

    13. My wish list is pretty short. I only have one BJD and i'm hoping not to get too many more! There's two other dolls that I definitely want to get, and then two or three that I might one day want. With BJDs being so expensive just getting those three could take a long time!

    14. My wish list is long, but I'm hoping I don't buy all of them. I don't know where I would display them all! I don't have a lot of space and I don't want to keep them in boxes all the time.

    15. Nah, my wishlist is really short at this point. I'm debating even completing another doll. But I already ordered her body and some clothes that only fit on that body, so why not just go through with it at this point? XD;

    16. Yes. My wishlist is 14 compared to the two I own. I would own them all already, but my funds do not allow me to purchase dolls as often as I would like to, :pout:. I do like the wishlist feature though, as it helps me remember all of the beautiful sculpts I see and keep staring at. :love

    17. I think I have about 10 dolls on my wishlist, and I may add a few more sculpts if they catch my eye. However, I don't think my wishlist will ever be too terribly long, much more than 15. I honestly don't plan to get a lot of BJDs, maybe 5 max, so that I can properly spoil them all.

    18. Heh, I have 10 dolls on my wishlist at present, but for me, that's SHORT. There are two or three dolls that keep jumping on and off it, too. I actually have managed to shrink it considerably because of two factors - the first one is that it's been a very long time since I fell for a doll hard enough to put on there - the vast majority of them are at least a few years old. That, I attribute to luck more than anything else. The second factor is that I'm pretty firmly committed to buying dolls only from my wishlist (though I broke that rule last November with Fairyland's release of a MNF Mio - I couldn't resist!). I'm a doll hunter; I go after my grails with lots of persistence and I don't quit until I have them. That's really been helpful in getting dolls off my wishlist - even the "impossible" ones! - and into my collection where they belong. <3

I can definitely see myself adding more dolls to my wishlist if I fall in love with them. I know I have a lot of dolls already - a lot more than I ever thought I would have, certainly - but as long as I don't feel overwhelmed, I don't see a reason to stop collecting. My dolls are spread out in my room now, and I like them that way. Whenever I move, I will definitely be planning for space to use for doll storage and display! I've been in this hobby for 10 years so far and am just as passionate about it now as I was then; I think planning for the long haul is pretty prudent, as much as anything in a luxury hobby can be.

    19. Oh yes, but I am thinking seriously about four new resin persons.

    20. It varies widely, but usually my wishlist runs about 20+ dolls. Sometimes even approaches 40. But that's my "if I won the lottery" list.

My more realistic list is smaller and more stable. One more SD boy, four more SD girls. A handful of MSDs or tinies, not sure yet the breakdown there. Two or three more pet dolls.
