Do you have a really long wish-list?

I have about nine dolls on my wishlist. I've taken a long time looking at them and I hope to get most of them. I'm working on trying to get the ones I need for my story first before buying the others but sometimes that just doesn't work.

 

Nope. Assuming I don't see some low end doll in the marketplace totally fall for it and buy it even though I know I don't need it, cough, blush, I'm probably done collecting BJD's actually. About the only dolls left on my wish list is an Iple Luo/Iple Carina pair but that's just big dreaming on my part. Iple dolls are way too pricey for me to ever get serious about buying any. If I won the lotto maybe, laugh. I did succumb the other day to buying an inexpensive SD sized RS doll and an extra head that I really didn't need. I didn't plan for buying them at all. But I've been very ill for a couple of months now and there's been serious illness going on in the family otherwise so I am dealing with all that's related to that. I've been going through a really rough time right now and well, it was a little retail therapy, basically. The Migidoll Jean I got is just gorgeous so I can't say I regret it at all, but it was definitely not a planned purchase.

I do still need a light tan MSD body for my Narae head. She's darkened again and just isn't working on the body I had her on anymore. The Miro MSD dolls I initially got are now ending up back on their bodies by default. Otherwise I'm done I think. In fact I'm trading off a couple of SD heads now as I don't really need or want them. Everybody except my Narae is firmly settled on a body. All of the SD's I want to have are on bodies that they look good on. I'm up several more dolls than I planned on. I think it's time to call the collection complete. I never meant to end up with as many dolls as I have. This past couple of years I've really enjoyed putting my BJD family together but I've pretty much reached my limit of what I wanted to spend and I need to start doing more with the dolls I have, instead of buying any more. Other than the Iple dolls which are a total pipe dream anyway I honestly can't think of any doll I really, really want so...

 

My wishlist seems like it's getting longer by the day. Some of them are plans to do with stories I want to shell, others are just sculpts I fell in love with whether or not I know what to do with them. I know what I'm saving up for right now, though, and ultimately that's all that really matters. I can get the rest of my list sorted out at a later date.

 

It's not terribly long, only 3 dolls right now. One of them I'll never realistically own any time soon, another is a whim I've been entertaining for a while now, the other is just a consideration that I may end up removing entirely. My doll family is already pretty large and with another definitely in the works for later this year, so I can't afford too many more tenants haha ಠ_ಠ

No, but if I added every doll that I really liked, yeah I'd probably have 10+ sculpts on there. I'm trying to keep it small by only putting dolls that I really, REALLY want on there though. The sculpts that I just can't get out of my head and keep coming back to over and over are the only ones allowed on the wishlist ;p

 

Because I envision my future doll family as being students and faculty at a girls' school, my list is huge and ever-fluctuating! However, I do have some dolls that I definitely want that never leave the list.

 

I currently have 5 dolls in my wishlist. All 5 are something attainable but... for a very long time. T_T So unfortunately I have to get all the money I need before I can actually get one. T_T All are limited editions so... I will probably have to wait forever to get them. but I will have to wait patiently no matter what.

 

I only have three,but the reason for this is probably because Im very picky when it comes to BJDs,soon enough that will go down to two as Im getting one of them soon!

 

Mine got shorter recently as I cut most of the big (MSD) dolls. I'm going to stick with my mature tinies and their kids for the forseeable future.

 

I keep finding dolls I want. I don't even have my first one yet (still waiting for her to ship) and I'm like 'well what about this one too? And this and this and this.'

I also find most of the dolls I fall in love with are absolutely huge.

 

I found an old doll wish-list I wrote a year ago and around 30 dolls were listed. Mostly YOSDs and MSDs. There were a lot more French/Belgian doll makers listed (Enaibi, Tarte au citron, Zen/Otherside, Lillicat/Cerisedolls, etc.) than Asian ones (Iplehouse, Fairyland, Souldoll) and a LOT of heads made in Korea I wanted to buy without the bodies.
Since then, I have switched to other doll makers though the dolls in the original list are still dolls I would love to have. I am keeping my eye on Fairytales Treasures (I love their little coconut and their new male head in SD size looks promising), Impldoll, 5th Motif, La Legende de Temps, Otherside (for ever! If I hadn't 2 Littlefees I would buy a Kobalt)...but basically, now my I-am-probably-75%-sure-going-to-buy list is listing... one doll. .
That's the problem with nearing the 10-dolls-ownership limit, I can only take that much sewing!

 

Due to one of my OC's having a HUGE FAMILY. (Im talking 8 older brothers+Dad!!) i have a long wishlist.
I just counted and i want around 16 dolls haha.

 

my list is about 10-15 (don't remember exactly the number) but when I got all the list I'll probable buy some second hand dolls that needs a home.

I'm on the short side at 6-8 on my wishlist and I honestly may pare that down. I'm at the "I'm finally done" stage of acquisition of characters, since I did finally get my twin SD girls, so it's now a matter of getting bodies for 9 floating heads and a head for one body. I never quite intended to have quite so large a family, but I am very happy with who I do have, and if any of my wishlist dolls did come home, I would be thrilled, but except for maybe one of them, I'm not going to be heartbroken if they never happen.

I have like over 10 on my list and almost all of them are fairyland dolls but sometimes i think do i really want some of the dolls on my list? Sometimes i remove some but sometimes i re add it on the list after thinking more

 

My wishlist is also very long and sometimes I change them when my taste changes but sometimes I re-add them into my list again...
